Apple Cinnamon Infused Bourbon
c/o The Kitchn
Ingredients
6 whole apples, such as Honey Crisp or any other sweet apple of your choice
6 whole cinnamon sticks
Core and slice the apples. Add these slices and the cinnamon sticks to a clean half-gallon mason jar with a tight-fitting lid (or several smaller mason jars — just split the ingredients evenly between jars).
Pour the bottle of bourbon into the mason jar, making sure that the apples and cinnamon are covered. Seal the jar tightly with their lids, and store the bottles somewhere cool and dark to infuse.
Let the bourbon infuse for up to two weeks, shaking the jar occasionally to mix the ingredients. Taste the bourbon occasionally — it's ready when it tastes good to you. The longer you let it sit, the more flavor and sweetness it will have.
When ready, strain the apples and cinnamon sticks from the bourbon and discard them. (You might be temped to re-purpose the apples, but they will be flavorless since all of their flavor has infused into the bourbon.)
Transfer your infused bourbon into a new bottle (or several smaller gift-sized bottles). If you're making this for holiday gifts, add a cute label and decorate to your heart's content.

Rosy Disposition
Rose gold doesn't get enough credit. It's such a beautiful metal tone and I feel like we don't mix it in to our everyday wear as well as we could. Today is for you rose gold. Take your bow.
Alex and Ani, Eros Arrow Ring Wrap, $28
Simple but purposeful. I love the delicate nature of the ring.
Bloomingdale's, Kendra Scott Candice Bracelet, $65
Hello statement piece. This one is a beauty.
Nordstrom, Kate Spade Dainty Sparkler Ear Crawlers, $58
I'm not over ear crawlers. I think they are so different and look great with almost any outfit. These rose gold crawlers are great with denim.
Shopbop, Aamaya By Priyanka Ooh La La Necklace, $82
Delicate yet quirky. I love this necklace for layering or alone with a long sleeve tee.
Do you wear rose gold? Do you find it difficult to pair with certain colors. I love it with neutrals as a great pop.

Ok lovebugs,
It's sweater weather stock up time and I am loving the dolman sleeve trend. It is so cozy and cool. It is relaxed but luxe. Let me explain.

Grab a long statement necklace and you're good.

Such a great base for fall. I'd wear as is or play with layering a printed collar.

Obsessed with this rich green. It's got more structure than a poncho but it's breezy and cool.
Macy's, Ralph Lauren Dolman Sweater, $99
Boatneck with a fitted waist. Just a gorgeous jewel tone as well.
The dolman sleeve is effortless. These sweaters are all comfort but you can dress them up so easily.
