Brands 101

From time to time The Bf chimes in with blog topic ideas. Today he thought we should look at well known brands that are totally allowed to show off. Stay with me. I didn't get it at first either. Think iconic fashion logos: Calvin Klein, Chanel, Burberry and think about their logos. Some of these timeless brands look great when you wear their...well their brand. Let me explain.

Everyone knows and loves the Gap 1969 logo. I love this vintage looking hoodie that shows it off.

Major sale on these classic gator shades. Talk about feminine.

Levi's, Classic Crewneck, $55
Iconic. Play with this top by adding a plaid collared shirt or black pearls.

Tommy. That all American brand that we all know. Try this nautical stripe with a denim skirt or black slacks for work.

Fashion brands come and go. It's the real classics that we like to wear on our sleeve. Enjoy the advertising because these logos aren't going out of style anytime soon.

Who, What, Wear

Happy Monday lovebugs,
I love great fashion collaborations with big brands because they make amazing style attainable for us normal people. Target has led the way in this category and their latest collab is no different. You know and love Who, What, Wear blog. Well now you can get the style at Target. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

Target, Women's Bow Blouse, $27
What a beautiful ladylike top. The bell sleeves create drama. This top also comes in classic white.

This is a fantastic basic. It is a classic as is, but its also a great canvas for accessories and layering.

You've wanted to try this trend, but you don't want to spend the money. Problem solved.

Target, Women's Mod Moto, $39
Simple, eye catching, classic. Just a beautiful jacket.

The Who, What, Wear collection is essential for a woman on a budget. The pieces are classic and basic but in a wear everyday kind of way. Shop the entire selection here.

Grab An Extra Blanket

One of my favorite blogs is Kendi Everyday and this week she inspired me with this blanket cardigan look.  I went on a search of my own and found some beautiful options that can be dressed up or down with a belt, statement necklace, or heels.

Simple and casual. Such a cozy look.

Gotta love a 50% off tag.

Vince Camuto, Geo Jacquard Blanket Poncho, $84
An oversized geometric print with a punch of color. Nothing wrong with that at all.

A dressier windowpane grid print is super versatile for work or play.

Thank you Kendi for brining this cozy yet chic sweater to my attention! Choose your print, style, and color and add your own spin to the blanket cardigan.
