Era of Lace

The 'Victorian' style is very in this fall but what does that mean? I don't know about you but I don't plan on breaking out my corset anytime soon. Instead try brocade, velvet, and more lush feeling fabrics. Another way to try this trend is lace. These lace panel pieces look expensive and delicate but they will be a go to, hard working item in your closet.

I love flats. I do, I know they aren't necessarily as feminine as heels, but as a city girl, I love comfort and style. Luckily, we've got some great flat trends that are happening right now. It's mid-September. It's time to layer your sleeveless dresses with denim jackets but its not quite time to break out the wool slacks. It's that weird in between time that can stress out anyone looking to look great. This is why I love the culotte trend. It's a wide leg capri pant that it a great transition piece for this weather. You can wear it with a simple tee and a delicate pendant or you can dress it up for work with a button down and sweater vest.
