Pack In Pattern

We're coming up on a couple of long weekends so I thought what better time to replace your weekender bag than right now? I love the idea of a weekender bag because it's has a spontaneous feel to it. It's not your standard wheely bag. It's got character and it can be a lot of fun. Today, we're looking at patterned weekender bags.

Sole Society, Daphnee, $64
A strong stripe that is perfectly accented by some gold hardware.

This bag looks way more expensive than it is, and I can't say no to go a bag with good pockets and compartments.

A great Aztec print makes this bag super laid back and casual.

Urban Outfitters, Ecote Woven Texture Weekender Bag, $79
Looking for texture? Look no further than this beautiful weave.

So have some fun with your weekender bag and look for a sassy pattern that grabs some attention.

These Boots are Made for History

Booties are not anything new these days. In fact, they're a style trend that has turned into a four season option. Today I'm going to narrow the focus and look at the Chelsea boot. Who knew these boots had such a history? I love these boots because they're easy to slip on and off plus they are pure comfort.

Nordstrom, Topshop Blighty, $75
I trust a British company when it comes to these boots. Simple and understated, perfect for jeans.

These are really getting back to the basic 'paddock' style of the Chelsea boot.

Steve Madden, Brown & Black Chelsea Boots, $99
A slight stacked heel is a great compliment to this beautiful burgundy.

Dorothy Perkins, Black Chelsea Ankle Boots, $44
These boots are motorcycle chic and they look so comfortable.

The chelsea boot is a special trend that features a slip on with a vertical elastic. These boots come in a variety of color options and now in leather, suede, and other oh so soft materials.

Cloudy with a Chance of Fabulous

Today's post idea is inspired by The Bf. A few times a week I will hear the phrase "good clouds" from him. He loves a good cloud. What really defines a good cloud? That I'm not sure, but I have to agree with him, clouds are awesome and beautiful and that's why they make for a perfect print.

I'm obsessed with this dress. It is such an adorable print and I think it has such a ladylike shape.

Have some fun with your phone with this whimsical case from Kate.

I've been eyeing this top for a few weeks now. I love the overexposed print and the color. It's almost a bit rocker.

Why yes, you did read that right. $12. You're welcome.

We've got some "good clouds" to choose from here and I think it's a great way to spice up your standard pattern.

It Really Is Easy...

Hey there lovebugs,
Happy Monday. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today I thought we would look at a color in bags that I believe is severely underrated. As it is often said, it isn't easy being green, but I tend to disagree. Green is gorgeous, especially when it comes to handbags. I love it because it goes with both black and brown and in this cold weather, it's a nice pop of something when outerwear tends to be so neutral.

This bag is on crazy sale until Wednesday. It's originally $170, I cannot tell you how amazing this sale price is. Go now.

Nasty Gal, Lexie Satchel, $78
I love a top handle and cross body option. This is olive hue is accented beautifully with gold accents.

Gap, Leather Tote, $53
This slouchy and soft leather is perfect for the weekend. Throw everything in and go. Did I mention it  was originally $135?

Another great olive option. Look at this interesting top. Geometric and almost Tetris-like. This is a great winter shoulder bag.

I'm all for chocolate brown and black and even a pop of neon now and again, but these green options are really striking a chord with me right now on these chilly days.
