Resolutely Resin

A bit of a science lesson today. What is resin? Well, I'm so glad you asked. Resin is a hydrocarbon secretion of many plants that can often harden into a transparent yet glossy solid. Today, we're shopping for some resin bracelets. A solid and sometimes chunky bangle that makes a statement or can be layered with other bracelets.

BaubleBar, Habsburg Bangle, $38
A pinky hue with some antique bling are the perfect combination to add with your standard suit for work.

Downright tropical, am I right? This turquoise and tortoise is not only a tongue twister but also perfect with a more delicate chain bracelet.

Anthropologie, Seven Pearls Bangle, $38
I don't know about you but I'm loving this BaubleBar Anthro collaboration, including this stunner.

How beautifully natural are these bangles? A great set for a casual or dressy occasion.

The resin bangle is a great and easy option to add on to your arm party or wear on its own. try a bold color or an option that has a great stone. There's a bangle for every style.

A Bouquet for Me?

Yesterday we looked at some spring skirts. Today, let's continue the trend and hope for warmer weather. Let's look at some watercolor inspired florals that are perfect for right now. They're graphic and colorful and they are just what we need on this hump day.

Lord and Taylor, Dual Print Cardigan, $55
I'd pair this sweet print with leather pants, because I'm wild like that. And check out the back of this cardigan, didn't see that coming did you?

New York & Company, Floral Soft Pant, $59
I love this mix of black and blue here and the pops of white just freshen it up.

How about a big graphic print? I love the bright colors and midi length of this pencil.

Guys if you need me, I'll be over at Landsend.com because this floral is just perfect.

Florals aren't just for the middle of spring and summer, try them now with your closed toe shoes and a cardigan. Bright colors will make spring come faster, promise.

Choose Your Own Ending

Hey there lovebugs,
I hope your week is going swimmingly. As spring tries to creep into our weather and our wardrobe, I thought we could take a peek into some light and fun skirts. Pleats can sometimes be seen as boring and school-girlish so why not make them sassy? Asymmetrical hems are a great way to mix up tops and skirts, let's add some pleats to the mix.

Well, I'm obsessed, how powerful yet light is this skirt?

Forever 21, Modern Asymmetrical Skirt, $10 (!!)
Hello lover. Red, sexy, perfect with booties, heels or ballet flats.

Asos, White Skirt with Mesh Overlay, $19
So this was originally $80. Eighty, You think about that. And then buy it.

Chicwish, Wine Red Asymmetric Waterfall Skirt, $39
This skirt really is fluid. The movement gives your whole outfit an airy feel.

The asymmetrical hem is a fun way to dress up your average skirt. These breezy options with a pleat detail are perfect for spring.

The Girl with the Pearl

You know what the world needs more of? Pearls. The world needs more pearls. They're classic, innocent, and perfect for every occasion. Trends can come and go but pearls, they're forever. We could easily talk about the pearl necklace, the ultimate classic, but what fun would that be? Today, we're talking pearl rings.

Anthropologie, Double Pearl Ring, $38
Delicate and simple, this adjustable ring is perfect for an LBD or jeans.

A double ring is so unexpected in pearls. New meets old.

Kate Spade, Disco Pansy Mini Ring, $68
This is my favorite. So feminine and so unique!

And a pretty silver option. The twist offers something different, perfect for layering.

Pearls are a timeless piece that can be translated to any style. The standard pearl is beautiful no matter how you wear it, and these rings are something different.
