All Tasseled Up

Happy humpday lovebugs,
I love earrings, probably because they add the perfect addition or enhancement so close to your face. They can stud, dangle, or in today's case tassel. We've looked at other tassel accessories in the past, but today let's look at tassel earrings.

Brooks Brothers, Stone and Tassel Drop Earring, $64
These are half off and they are a steal in my opinion. Just beautiful, and you can't beat Brooks Brothers quality.

BaubleBar, Snow Pearl Tassel Drops, $26
Oh just so classy. Perfect for a sundress for evening or LBD.

A little rocker-chic from J. Simp. I dig it.

Simple, elegant, and so easy to mix in with just about anything.

Tassels don't seem to be going away anytime soon. We seem them on jewelry, bags, shoes, you name it. Try these beautiful earrings and get some guaranteed compliments.

Flipping for Flops

Yesterday we looked at bathing suits, let's stay with the trend and look at some gorgeous rubber flip flops. Colors, prints, styles, are endless these days, but how about something that you'll enjoy putting on your feet and add some sass to your outfit.

Tory Burch, Thandie, $42
I'm just in love with this platform because it's different and the print is fabulous.

Nordstrom, Ipanema Trends VI, $24
I have not heard of Ipanema flip flops before but I love the price point and love their prints.

Vera Bradley, Plum Crazy, $32
OK now stay with me, I know Vera can be polarizing, but I'm just crazy about this stripe mixed with the print.

Simple, pretty and easy with denim.

These are rubber flip flops that you won't be embarrassed to wear. Flip flops that will make your pedicure pleased.

Reader Request: Handling Love

Hey there lovebugs,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today we have a reader request who would like to cover some extra love in her handle area. Now, I must confess, I know this reader and she is crazy for covering any part of her body, but I can relate with wanting to feel comfortable in a...wait for it...a bathing suit.

She was looking into retro briefs, which is a great option, here are some others to try out.

I LOVE this print, it adds some modern to a retro brief.

A skirt is a great option and this ruching plus the stunning emerald green is just a great look.

A belt is an easy way to define waist, add this sexy one shoulder, all under $50!

If you want to go the bikini route, try a great banded waist, and hello fabulous bow on the back!

And if you would like to go the 'shaper' route, try something that features another asset: get it girl.

As painful as trying on a bathing suit is, remember that you're beautiful. Absolutely stunning. If you need a motivation boost, remember this post? We have all been there. You get it girl.

Be fabulous today!

Friday Foodday

Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Here are my favorite recipes this week.

Asian Chicken Pizza
c/o Stephanie Cooks
Ingredients
Pizza dough
5 ounces of chicken, chopped into small pieces
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (less or more depending on how hot you want it)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 1/2 tbsp. honey
3/4 cup rice wine vinegar OR apple cider vinegar
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Olive oil
Sesame seeds (optional)
2 tbsp. sliced green onion
Directions
1- Preheat the oven to 450.
2- Combine the red pepper flakes, garlic, soy sauce, honey, and vinegar. Stir well, set aside.
3- In a small skillet cook the chicken. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan. Heat over medium heat until it thickens and becomes syrup like, about 10 minutes. Add the chicken, toss well.
5- Form the dough. Top with a drizzle of olive oil, rubbing to coat the dough.
6- Top with the chicken/glaze mixture. Make sure it's evenly coating the dough.
7- Top with the cheese and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
8- Bake 10-12 minutes. Top with green onion. Serve hot.
