Sew Much Detail

Happy almost Friday guys!

Details really make me excited about clothing, usually because it means quality. That extra time was taken to make a piece extra special. Today, that detail is embroidery. Very simple, but very noticeable.

This top is truly something special. It has a gorgeous pattern and the colors just pop.

Ann Taylor, Embroidered Bubble Hem Top, $48
I love a good bubble hem because it looks a little more put together. This top also comes in blue.

Forever 21, Embroidered Daisy Top, $19
I chose this top because it goes along with the mod trend that we'll be seeing this season.

I can't think of an outfit you couldn't wear this with. Pair it with orange linen shorts, a gray suit, you name it.

Embroidery comes with all kinds of price points, so find a pattern that you love, and I promise you will find something in your budget. Thrift stores and secondhand shops are also a gold mine for this stuff.

Just throw on a Tee

Happy humpday lovebugs,
I hope your week is swimming along. As we get closer to the weekend, I wanted to take a look at one of the easiest things to throw on for the weekend. The t shirt dress. Now, I'm not talking about an oxford shirt dress; I mean pure comfort, simple and chic, a t shirt dress.

Banana Republic, Striped T-Shirt Dress, $67
How nautically fantastic is this dress? I love the drop waist pattern.

Piperlime, Striped T Shirt Dress, $59
So simple and carefree, this dress is perfect to wear as is or maybe add a denim jacket.

This dress is so much fun. I love the colors! You could wear this on a date or to a day party.

LC does is again. Perfect sleeve length, great color, and even better price point.

Hey guys, I just realized these are all striped. Wow. Way to go me.

All Wrapped Up

I'm really loving wrap bracelets right now. Mostly because they're young and girly. They have a friendship bracelet quality to them that I adore.

Simple and quiet, this bracelet is easy to wear alone or add on to an arm party.

BaubleBar, Rose Bead Wrap, $28
How about something a bit more hippie?

A bit dressier, but I think with the right outfit this will really pop. The leather also comes in pink or white.

I may have saved my favorite for last. Just a hint of studding with a pop of green neon, what's not to love?

A wrap bracelet is a great addition to your arm party this summer. Mix in different textures like leather, rose gold, beading, and more!

Cropping the Print

Happy Monday lovebugs,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did. I went home to Philadelphia to surprise my mom and it was a really special day.

Today I wanted to look at printed cropped jeans. Printed jeans have been a big deal for a while now, but now that the weather is a bit warmer, it's time to raise those hemlines.

These beige floral jeans are perfect to dress up or down because the print it like a blank canvas.

A great geometric all over print is quite the illusion to the eye. Making these perfect for any size.

I love this print because it would also be a fantastic sundress. But because it's denim, it gives the print a bit more edge.

This burst of sunshine is $100 off right now. Scoop them up while you can!

For some reason printed denim seems so much easier to wear when it's not full length. Could be I'm crazy, but there's something about the cropped pant that is less of a commitment.
