Hair Accessories!

Hey lovebugs,
You know what I love when my hair isn't cooperating?  Headbands, barrets, and ribbons.  Hair accessories are such a great way to dress up your hair when you're feeling you need a little extra boost.

Red Autumn Creations, Retro Flower Turquoise , $5
I just love this with boyfriend jeans on the weekend.  What a great way to dress up a casual outfit.

This is perfect for a summer sun dress, it would catch the light perfectly.

Anthropologie, Clara Bobbies, $15
Are you obsessed with these?  Because I am.

TopShop, mini flower headband, $12
I love this one because its an all the way around headband which means no headaches.

If you ever need to kill time, just type headband into Etsy.  Not only will you lose hours in your day, you'll thank me later for all of the amazing hair accessories you find!  I just love playing with headbands and bling in my hair, its so easy, affordable and fun.

Lace on your feet

Happy humpday friends! I'm back from New Orleans and couldn't be happier to sleep in my own bed tonight.  How has your week been going?

Today we're going to talk about lace; now I have featured lace before on TCB here but today we're going to look at some lace for your feet! I'm talking shoes ladies!

Nordstrom, Via Spiga Vienna, $91
Look at these beauties.  A little bow detail and the lace is just so delicate.

Asos, Sydney, $62
Kitten heel, lace detail, capped pointy toe.  What is not to love?

Caparros, Narita Nu Gold Satin, $58
These have a vintage feel.  I love this with an LBD.

Nordstrom, BP Gia Sandal, $35
Ooo these are just asking for a Friday night!

You'll notice I picked black and white lace as opposed to any other colors.  I think this is a good staple when wearing lace because it's the most versatile and the classiest.  When you go into red lace, and other colors you can go from gorgeous to hooker in three seconds flat.  So try a few styles and see what looks best on you!

Dolman Sleeves

Hey there!
First and foremost a special Happy Birthday to THE BF.  He is a quarter century today!  Wish I was there to celebrate with him but I will be back from New Orleans tomorrow.

Today we're going to talk a little bit about the dolman sleeve.  This is a sleeve that is much wider at the arm-hole than it is at the wrist.  It can be a really interesting addition to a blouse.

The neckline is so beautiful, I love the billowy shape with the sleeves.

Modcloth, In chic contrast top, $35
I would wear this with a bold long necklace or an electric pink skinny belt.

I just love this for a weekend grocery shop.

Forever 21, plaid dolman shirt, $25
While I would style this top differently; I just love the mix of plaid with a button down and dolman sleeve.

So a dolman sleeve is usually a little more casual, but it adds a flirty detail to your sleeve.
