I'm Dreaming of White Jewelry
It's officially December. While it may not feel like it temperature-wise, it is wintertime in the city. I love wearing white in December because it is such a bright and crisp color that brings a pop of cool that no other color can. Today I'm rounding up my favorite winter white jewelry pieces.
Nordstrom, Marchesa Poppy Linear Stud Earring, $58
What a statement piece. I love the snowy crystals paired with the cool silver.
Shopbop, BEX nyc Countess Collar Necklace, $55
You can style this necklace a million different ways. Dress up your solid or patterned crewneck sweaters or tees with this stunner.
Zappos, Majorica Black Leather Pearl Bangle, $65
Black leather and pearls? Oh hello dangerous.
Net A Porter, Kenneth Jay Lane Gold Plated Faux Peal Necklace, $63
This will be your go to necklace for any outfit that needs something extra. LBD, sweater, peplum sleeveless top, you name it.
Winter white isn't for everyone. There are some firm no white after Labor Day people out there, but I think we can all agree that jewelry hardly breaks the rules. (Does it ever?)
Be fabulous today!

White Eyed
Happy Fourth of July lovebugs, I hope you had a happy holiday. Today I'm looking at white eyelet styles because nothing says summer more than a light white eyelet dress, skirt, or accessory.
Modcloth, Caught Your Eyelet Dress, $97
Certainly not something you want to wear with mom and dad or gramma, but an evening picnic, or drinks on the pier? Yes.
Piperlime, Sabine Eyelet Shell Tank, $59
How lovely is this top? A great pattern without any color needed.
Bloomingdale's, Aqua Skirt, $43
I like the thicker waistband on this skirt, and it's floating shape is perfect for any type of top.
Lands End Canvas, Eyelet 3" shorts, $35
Light, airy, perfect with some gingham!
White eyelet is a sure sign of summer for me. It means BBQs, frozen drinks and sweat proof makeup!
Be fabulous today!

Winter White
I love a crisp and cozy white sweater in the cold weather. It can be layered or paired with colors of any sort.
Nordstrom, Bobeau Asymmetrical Fleece Wrap, $39
I think I would live in this wrap cardi, it's so cozy and I could belt it too!
LL Bean, Button Front Cardigan, $49
I would layer a sequin tank or a striped button down underneath this classic cardi.
Banana Republic, Textured Stripe Pullover, $69
This is a great sweater for transitioning through the seasons.
Modcloth, Diamond Heights Sweater, $53
A little sparkle on this one, and I love the scoop neck.
How do you style your winter whites?
Be fabulous today!

Green and White
Today is my hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly fans are notoriously bad but hey, I think it's part of their charm. I also love their colors: green and white. White jewelry or a crisp white button down shirt mixed with a deep green.
Jess LC, Ainslie Pearl Cluster Necklace, $62
I love Jess LC because she is a girl on a mission to do what she loves and make it her job.
Urban Outfitters, Sparkle and fade paper bag shorts, $48
The way these shorts lay so flat on the body makes them very attractive, because they had the potential to be a puffy mess.
Rugby, Hadee Ruffle Oxford Shirt, $79
Classic, crisp, and just perfect for any occasion.
Modcloth, Four-est Square Dress, $44
This is to be worn while drinking a Manhattan or something equally retro and chic.
I love a good, deep green, it's saturated and decadent, and you mixed with white, it really pops.
Be fabulous today!

Last of the White
Hey lovebugs!
How was your weekend? I hope all of my fellow east coasters stayed safe with silly Irene rolling through. Here in DC myself and The BF hunkered down with Doritos and wine.
Today I thought we'd look at all of the white on sale! I'm a believer in no white after Labor Day other than the classic white blouse or sweater. So why not stock up on white pieces now for next season?

Gap, 1969 always skinny surplus jean, $24
White jeans were huge this season. I love the skinny version here.
Loft, Pintuck Hem Cotton Skirt, $24
This sweet little skirt would be wonderful with a skinny neon belt and a cardi.
Modcloth, Look Your Best Dress, $29
How wonderful is this little rosette? Sleeveless, and a nice hemline.
Target, Mossimo Posie Rope Sandal, $18
These will be the first summer shoe I put on next year. Fabulous mix of textures and it'll look amazing with a new pedicure.
So will you be wearing any white this week before the long weekend? Or are you a white after Labor Day kind of girl?

Purple and White!
It's the last day of color combos; what did you think? Do you have any fave color combinations that I missed?
Today is purple and white. This pairing is so crisp and light for summer.
Rugby, Blythe silk ruffle top, $65
I love these ruffles, and I bet this silky fabric is perfect for summer. I would pair it with this...
I love the saturated color in this skirt.
Modcloth, Lovely Legend Dress, $48 (one left!!)
Somebody please buy this beautiful dress. And pair it with these...
Steve Madden, Gramicy, $42
I need these shoes. Kitten heel, bow, purple, omg.
Lord & Taylor, Violet Beaded embroidered peasant blouse, $55
I love the sleeve and hem detail. I would pair this with these shorts for a Saturday outside...
Old Navy, Diva clean front bermudas, $27
I really like the tab button waist on these, and the simple pockets are undistracting which is nice for bermudas.
What do you think about this color combination? Probably one of my favorites. Tomorrow I'll be back for Friday Foodday! Let me know if you have any recipes to share.
Be fabulous today!

Violet & White
Happy Thursday lovebugs!
Today I wanted to do a crisp color combination that I think will be hot for summer. Violet and white. This combination is super clean and chic, and can be dressed up or down.

Target, Mossimo convertible maxi dress, $35
I love this dress more in its other convertible style, as a halter, such a rich color. I'd pair it with the necklace below:
NY & Company, bold cabochon bib necklace, $25
I like this bib necklace because it will draw attention upwards, which is nice when wearing a maxi dress.
Boden Upbeat Wool mini, $42
Oh Boden, you always know how to make me swoon. I'd pair it with this blouse:
Loft, Ruffle neck blouse, $44
Crisp, white, and feminine.
Talbots, 5 inch garment-dyed twill shorts, $49
I really love these shorts because they're not skin tight and they don't pull across the waistline. I'd pair it with this top:
Modcloth, Art Room Flirtation Top, $48
Great sleeves and I love the gathering under the bust.
So what do you think? Are you liking this color combo as much as I am? I'm personally not quite ready for white bottoms, but in just a few short weeks I think we'll be seeing a lot of them!

The Last of the Labor Day Wear
It's almost Labor Day! You know what that means: no more white, no more espadrilles, no more seersucker, and no more madras. Deep breath, we'll get through this together. While summer may be ending, just remember all of the wonderful things you have to look forward to! Like, chunky knit sweaters, tights, pea coats, soups, stews, casseroles, and all of the other things fall and winter bring!
But before we embrace chilly weather and warm dinners, lets give one last nod to the best of Summer!
Old Navy, Knotted Jersey Espadrilles, $10.97
Suzi Chin, Maggy Boutique Pleat Detail Embroidered Cotton Dress, $69.90
Vineyard Vines, Skupper Skirt, $61.99
J Crew, Gingham Brigette Shorts, $29.99
Etsy, 1950s Straw bag purse, $25.00
Just Madras, Alison-Blue Seersucker Clutch, $60.00
