Spring Sneakers

How about some spring-ready slip ons? Sneakers that are casual, sporty, and chic. I love my Steve Madden slip on quilted sneakers because they are comfortable and easy to wear. These colorful pairs are going to be perfect for the warmer weather.

Hello spring! How cute are these in blush?

Dr. Scholl's, Madison Memory Foam Slip On, $49
A beautiful sneaker that will go with everything. Jeans, printed crops, you name it.

I'm obsessed with these sneakers. Highlighter pink and comfort for days.

Nordstrom, Sam Edelman Pixie Slip On, $48
I had to throw in a printed option. So pretty.

Sure it will be sandal season before we know it, but when your pedicure isn't ready, opt for these pretty sneakers.

Thank You, Thank You Very Much

Let's have some fun with shoes. Last week we talked sparkle and all shoes shimmery. Today I want to look at blue suede shoes. Something unexpected but perfectly wonderful for winter. I'm looking for deep, rich blues like navy and cobalt. Let me explain.

Sole Society, Tallie, $89
I own these and I love them. They are comfortable and can be worn with just about anything. Jeans, cords, skirts, very versatile shoe.

Modcloth, Soaring Tutorial Flat, $34
Absolutely adorable details on this flat. And the price doesn't hurt either.

Nine West, Handjive Round Toe Pump, $79
This shoe demands pearls. It is an instant classic.

And speaking of a classic. How about these sneakers? I'm wearing these every weekend from now until Spring.

Blue suede shoes have some personality without screaming with sequins. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Scream with your sequins. But if you'd like something a bit more understated while still chic, blue suede baby.

Wild Thing

I know it is technically still pedicure season, but my toes are looking a bit ragged. When this happens I look for summery shoes that keep my piggies covered. For this summer, I love the d'orsay flat because it's funky while keeping my feet cool. Today we're looking at some flashy leopard options.

J Crew Factory, Calf Hair d'Orsay Flats, $68
These shoes are great for work or play and the stitching on the toe is subtle.

I was so happy to find that these were not girls shoes. How cute are these?

Humble Chic, D'Orsay Flat, $44
So simple. I'm wearing these through the fall with skinny jeans.

So unexpected with a pencil skirt or suit. Easy and a bit sassy.

Step up your flat game with these d'orsay leopard options. A bit of pattern but wear them as a neutral. Have fun with patterns and colors.

A shoe with room

Today's post is going to be a little selfish, as I need your help.

I went to the foot doc this morning and I have good news and bad news:
Good News: I can start to wear "roomy" shoes
Bad News: these shoes are clogs, crocs, an sneakers.

So, I'm going to put up what I consider roomy and comfortable shoes that are work appropriate and are not made of rubber or Birkenstock.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Also- early calls for Friday Foodday, I know you have recipes ready for Thanksgiving!

Minnetonka, Suede Skimmer, $40
I like these because they have a nice sole for walking and they can be easily disguised under black slacks.

Easy Spirit, Junee, $39.99
Nice roomy toe box, this could work

Ugg, Retreat, $85
I'm having trouble with the idea of spending $85 for a rehab shoe...

Airwalk, Flurry, $24
Oh payless, I think we may have a winner. However, I may be mistaken for the abdominal snowman with this weird fur!!!

**Note: please do not judge me on these choices, they are by no means reflective of what my shoe collection looks like.  This is a temporary option!
