Time for a Change

It's humpday, not that I'm checking, or counting down, or anything like that. We're getting there. And to help us watch the time go by on this Wednesday, why don't we upgrade our watch? I've got some great styles with round face details that are sure to fit any budget.

Simply perfect for work or play. Chic black, white, and gold, with a great graphic.

How versatile is this watch? Suit, jeans, black, brown, red, you pair it, it works.

Asos, Large Face Fine Case Watch, $35
Mod. Chic. A bit masculine but balanced with the thin strap.

Urban Outfitters, Braided Leather Map Watch, $29
Travel bug? This watch is perfect for you or a gift. I love the braided strap.

So check your wrist. Add something useful to your arm party.

Pretty in Plaid

It may be 60 or even 65 (!) degrees in mid-December but that doesn't we can't wear our favorite winter prints. I love tartan in December. It's a colorful plaid that truly says winter to me. It's a step above your average plaid that makes you smell gingerbread and hear jingle bells.

Originally $80, this classic accessory is totally worth picking up this holiday. I love the red ticks on the watch face for extra color.

Modcloth, Brooklyn Belle Skirt, $69
Oh hello ladylike perfection! I'm pairing this with a winter white sweater and drop earrings.

A great top to wear as is or for layering under a holiday sweater.

This is what we can festive elegance. Understated but hardly an LBD.

Stand out this December in a punchy tartan plaid. Try it with accessories, dresses, sweaters, you name it.

All About Timing

Let's talk timing. It's everything. And when you're not on time, well, it's embarrassing. Today we are looking at some casual, everyday watched that are affordable and chic.

Need Supply, Boheme Rose Gold Watch, $99
Worth the investment, kids. This rose gold watch is just stunning. Worn alone or add your own arm party.

Truth time: I bought this watch this weekend. I waited, I thought about it, and then I did it. I love it.

Studs are usually more rocker for me, but these are dainty and feminine. Certainly a statement watch.

I love this pop of color and a simple and chic watch face.

These watches are non-metal options meaning they are bit more casual. I think they can be worn to work, weekend, and in-between. While I wouldn't wear them with an LBD, they are workhorse pieces for sure.

Gold Watch

Yep, nothing cute or creative from that title, but that's just what I wanted.  Gold watch.  A simple, clean, and weighted sentence and piece of jewelry that is truly timeless. Ok that was a little funny. Watch, timeless, ok fine, I laughed.

I bought myself a Michael Kors watch two months ago and while I was skeptical of the large face at first, now I won't take it off.  It goes with everything!  While you can splurge like I did and go for the $200 version.  Here are some picks for under $100.

American Apparel, Vintage Seiko Watch, $100
Simple, elegant, and vintage.

Urban Outfitters, wraparound watch, $38
This is so interesting.  Usually a wraparound is only seen with a leather band.  Love this!

Timex, easy reader watch, $29
I love this watch- its very old school in a journalist or editor sort of way.

A little more casual with the gold ceramic band but perfect for everyday wear.

So are you feeling the gold? I think it is very ladylike and professional.
