Less is More

Sometimes it's the most delicate piece of your outfit that makes you feel powerful. It's not the oversized print or the stilettos, it's something smaller, maybe even something only you notice. It's a piece you feel good about putting on because it makes you smile. These small but mighty cuffs can get lost in an arm party, but worn alone offer just the right touch of special.

Nordstrom Rack, NADRI Semiprecious Stone Cuff, $100 $39
You've gotta love Nordstrom Rack for bringing the beauty at an affordable price.

Bloomingdale's, Argento Vivo Heart Cuff Bracelet, $48
Simple but makes you smile.

Charming Charlie, Sadie Vintage Arm Cuff, $14
A beautiful brushed metal that gives this bling a vintage look.

The Outnet, Saturn Gold Tone and Stone Cuff, $115 $55
Shades of cobalt that pop.

Sometimes less is more and with these simple but beautiful cuffs, it's about the little things.

Big Business Beads

Remember when you were 11 and decided you were going to make a living off of bead jewelry? You had the knack, expertise, and dedication to string those beads into one of a kind bracelets and anklets. How is that going for you? Yeah, me too. Luckily there are some people who did commit to this artistry and we can all benefit. Here are some truly lovely beaded earrings.

The Outnet, Silver Tone Bead Earrings, $45
These beauties are 50% off right now and they will make your white dress pop and then make your navy blazer a bit more playful this fall.

Anthropologie, Jima Hoops, $98
I really love the mix of colors in this earring. That blue really stands out.

I love Gilt for jewelry. Its a great place to find gifts because the designers are not what you find in your everyday department store.

Lord & Taylor, Beaded Chandelier Earrings, $19
How about these swingy earrings? They also come in white/gold.

So we didn't make it big with friendship bracelets or bead jewelry, but we can still enjoy the detailed perfection with these beaded earrings.

Too Tough to Tassle

It's time for some accessories. Big accessories that make a statement. Today let's look at some big ol' tassel earrings. They're loud, bright, and so classic when paired with an LBD.

Design Darling, Turquoise Tassel Earrings, $98
If you haven't checked out Design Darling, you've been missing out. Blogger turned amazing online shop owner, this store is my go to for gifts.

Lord and Taylor, Anne Klein Goldtone Tassel Earrings, $26
A very feminine earring, even with the gold chain mesh.

Macy's, Thalia Sodi Gold Tone Blue Tassel Earring, $22
How playful are these earrings? Perfect for white jeans and a cocktail.

The Outnet, Kenneth Jay Lane Gold Plated Tassel Earring, $27
Hot pink, anyone? Heck yes.

A sassy tassel earring is just what your Friday night outfit needs. Simple, playful, and so much fun to wear.

Bright Blazers

Hey lovebugs!
Happy Monday.  If the Mondays have you down, do I have something to make you smile.  It's a traditional piece now with a colorful spin. I'm talking about bright blazers!

Urban Outfitters, Pins and Needles Scalloped Blazer, $79
I love this pastel pink! It would look great with a white dress or a black pencil skirt.

Eddie Bauer, lightweight chino blazer, $69
The color is a little military, the details are so feminine.  The low stance with the buttons makes it more casual and on the back is a thin bow tie.

The Outnet, Armand basi baber, $77
There's only a few left in size 4 but it is just gorgeous isn't it? I love the bracelet sleeves.

Newport News, Satin wing collar jacket, $49
Hello drama! What a fabulous, luscious color to go with!

Try to spruce up your blazers with some color.  If you want to keep what you have now, add a neon skinny belt around the outside to give it some extra pop!

Neutral Zone

Going along with yesterday's post of Canvas and Leather, I want to stay neutral today.  I know, I know, that is not very me but neutral hues are always reliable and always in style.

Here are some of my picks:

O.M.G.  I love this dress.  the rouching near the neck, the button detail the va-va-voom factor is through the roof!!

Susan Hanover, Stones rock, $80
I really like this delicate bracelet.  It is so simple and unique.

Banana Republic, Patterned stretch pencil, $60
Look at the seaming on this number! It defines every curve you've got! Work it.

Vince Camuto, Porty Blush Patent, $79
Repeat after me: Slingback, mid-height, rounded tow, patent.

As you can see neutral can't be all bad.  It's very clean and feminine when mixed correctly.
