Let's play with stripes. Particularly black and white stripes because they stand out. They make a statement that no other color or pattern can. People tend to fear horizontal stripes because it exaggerates width, but I'm here to tell you that in monochrome in the right cut and fit, it accentuates every awesome part about you*.

Hey there lovebugs,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was a muggy one in DC but I will take the sun where I can get it! Today I thought we would look at a colorful trend that is great for creating long lines and supermodel heights. Vertical stripes. They're statement-worthy and stunning when worn as the base of your outfit.

Striking Stripes

Alright, we've focused on accessories this week, so let's bring it back to the clothes. I love a great cardigan, especially this time of year when layering is key in between seasons. We've looked at sheer cardis, patterned cardis, today let's look at striped cardigans.
