Do A Double Take

Who doesn't love a great double take. That thing/look/smile that makes you turn around to make the moment last just a bit longer. These shoes do just that because they pack a punch in the back. The bow back shoe is simple, feminine, and sassy. Get ready for some whiplash.

Sole Society, Mabel, $79 $59
Perfection with bf jeans because its the perfect mix of casual ripped denim and girly yellow bow.

Charlotte Russe, Pointed Toe Slingback Pumps, $35 $18
Sexy slingbacks under $20? Sign me up!

Prefer a flat? How about these springy sandals? They also come in gold!

A beautiful everyday pump with an unexpected cutout.

A back bow is great for spring when the hemlines start to come up. Play with heels or flats, you cannot go wrong with a bow.

Don't Be That Girl

New Year's Eve is a night where comfortable shoes are a must. Whether you are dancing the night away or being a social butterfly at a friend's party, or even out to dinner with your beau. Do not be that girl in a beautiful dress carrying her shoes. Do not be that girl. I find the best shoes for a special night out are metallic. Bring the bling and they match pretty much anything.

Nordstrom, Ivanka Trump Indico Pump, $99
A nice mid-heel is perfect for a night on the dance floor. These remind me of a modern day Cinderella.

Urban Outfitters, Report Murphy Scaled Heel, $99
The stacked heel will save your heels even after the clock strikes 12.

1. Uh-dorable
2. You can basically be Fergie
3. The price

Aldo, Kveta, $38
This t-strap is a great design to save your feet, the silver pointy toe is just extra.

Don't get me wrong sometimes I do believe in the phrase beauty is pain, but not when you're getting kissed at midnight. Give your feet a break, let your dress do the work tonight.

You Don't D'Orsay?

The D'Orsay flat has been all the rage lately, and why not? They're chic, comfortable and affordable. But what's in a name? D’Orsay shoes, in which the side or "vamp" of the shoe is cut very close to the sole, were named after Count Alfred d’Orsay; a 19th Century "dandy", artist and friend of Lord Byron. The shoes were worn by men at the time, and the cut-out sides were introduced to accommodate wider feet. [source

I'm going to skip the D'Orsay flat discussion, because, let's be honest, it's been done. Let's look at where we originally saw the style: the D'Orsay pump.

Forever 21, City Chic D'Orsay Pumps, $36
Well hello vamp! That is one gorgeous, affordable shoe.

Urban Outfitters, Cooperative D'Orsay Canvas Heel, $49
How hippy-adorbs are these? Paired with a cord mini and some tights. These also come in black, red, and gray.

Black and blue are a hot combo this fall and winter. These beauties will look great with some black skinny jeans.

A little vintage looking, no? A little Gatsby. You get it J. Simp.

The D'Orsay style is more than 200 years old and I for one love a little history with my fashion. Try a D'Orsay pump or flat this season!

Flowers, for Me?

Floral is so easy for spring, we looked at some just a little while ago. Today we're searching for floral pumps. I love this trend because it combines the sometimes severe stiletto with the soft pattern and colors of a floral.

Look at how the patten continues down the heel. This is perfect with jeans or a sundress.

The Limited, Patterned Mid-Heel Pumps, $69
I LOVE these colors. Tan legs or pale legs, it works with them all.

A little Grease sock hop but in a Cha Cha DiGrergorio kind of way. Hot.

This pattern should be stretched onto a canvas. Just lovely.

Floral pumps, a little sexy, a little girly, a lot easy for any style. Pick a hue, pastel, purples, reds, you name it, you will find something in your taste for this trend.

Building Blocks

Ok ladies, let's talk heels. I'm more of a low heel kind of girl, but if I can walk in them for more than 40 minutes, I'm willing to give them a shot. And the new trend of the block heel is giving me that option. Something tall yet sturdy, mod yet sleek.

Reiss, Yves Glitter Court Heel, $82 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Go, run, click, buy this shoe. Oh my word, my dream shoe. Purple satin, gold block glitter. Get in my closet.

How sweet are these heels? A girly mint color, ankle strap and lucite heel. Yum.

Nine West, Peace out, $49
Snakeskin anyone? Check out the angles on this heel!

Last Call Neiman Marcus, Kelsi Dagger Molly Patent Pump, $52
The always versatile nude pump. An understated bow is perfect for a suit.

I just LOVE a block heel because it makes stiletto wimps like me able to strut their stuff too!

Ankle Deep

Hey there lovebugs,
How was your weekend? Any good sales? I had a fun filled weekend with friends and now I'm looking forward to taking on this week.

Today we're looking at ankle strap pumps, I love them because they're so sassy and chic and they look fabulous with any style.

Forever 21, Neon Ankle Strap Pumps, $25
See? Like I said sassy, chic and anyone could pull these off. Oh not to mention the price tag.

J Crew, Ava Satin Pump, $99 (extra 30% off with code STYLEFIND)
These are perfection. Kate Middleton definitely owns these.

These will be your new black pumps. And you will get looks in the office. For all of the right reasons.

OK, wear these before it gets too warm. They are delicious. Nice.

I love a great ankle strap because they give an extra detail and a little extra sass to your outfit.

Suede Colorblock Heels

Who doesn't need a pair of fabulous party heels? Colorblocking is a great way to make an entrance and these shoes, well they need no introduction.

Kohl's, Salas Platform Heels, $59
Sometimes a suede platform can feel clunky but the mix of colors here make it seem less weighed down.

OK I don't think I could walk in these, but worn appropriately, I would respect any woman who could. This heel is like a work of art!

Steve Madden, Cathi Heels, $89
Just so amazing. I can't even say.

Dolce Vita, Suede Colorblock Pumps, $89
If you ever wear these, you must tell your significant other "you're welcome" from me.

Are you in love like I am? These punchy heels are just perfect for the weekend.

Not Your Average Pump

Now that it is starting to get chillier and we have to pull out the jeans and pants, why not spice up your feet with some bright pumps?

Nine West, Martina, $79
Well hello teal suede! Where have you been all of my life?

Urban Outfitters, UO Suede Pump, $49
I've been coveting these heels for months now. I love the sculptural heel and the round toe.

BCBG Taffi Wedge, $88
Ooo these suede wedges, so winter, so lovely.

Modcloth, Green of the Crop Heel, $52
These wedges are so fun. I love the forest green color.

So just because you put away your fave pedicure colors doesn't mean your feet can't have any fun! Try to spruce up your shoe wardrobe with bright colors!
