Riding My Pony

There are certain days of the week when I've slept on wet hair, or should have washed it the night before and it's just not looking... as they say... on fleek. So I turn to a ponytail, but why go with a boring hair tie? Dress up your tough hair day with a pony holder that shines.

Anthropologie, Bow Tied Pony Holder, $12
Just wow. Simple, feminine, and a touch decadent.

Its the simple things that make this unique. I'd get both gold and silver.

Feeling sassy? I'm planning to strut into the office on a Monday with this bad boy on.

Mark and Graham, Tortoise Ponytail Holder, $29
Preppy, classic, and personal.

So don't fret those bad hair days. Have some fun with them with these beautiful hair ties.

Headcase

Ok almost Friday, let's do this. If you're like me, at least one day a week is ponytail day. Your hair is a touch dirty, you're out of dry shampoo, you didn't blow dry it, it's ponytail day. Not all of us are fortunate to enjoy this luxury because our hair is too short for a ponytail. Enter the jeweled headband. A little bling that just distracting enough to pass off as gorgeous.

Anthropologie, Golden Pyramids Headband, $32
This hand beaded headband is beautiful not just for the colors but also for the shape. It's so different!

Forever 21, Faux Gemstone Headband, $7
A little princess but paired with the right outfit (read moto jacket) it's rocker chic.

Difference between a headband and a head wrap? A head wrap doesn't give you that behind the ears headache.

What a great color combination. Blues, silvers, perfect for winter.

Whether you enjoy a ponytail day or a headband day, style it right.

Dirty Hair, Don't Care

I have recently cut off five inches of my hair so I'm having some ponytail envy. I thought I would treat myself to some window shopping with some great ponytail holders. Who needs a regular elastic when you can dress up your hair with these affordable accessories.

What a fun gift idea for a Secret Santa or for yourself. Pick from this yellow and rose gold combo or the silver set which is on sale for $9.

A leather bow. I love it. Choose from five fun colors.

Forever 21, Fuzzy Ball Hair Tie, $2
With this price, I'm getting the pink version as well.

Fancy Pony!

Happy Monday lovebugs,
I'm in New Orleans working for a few days. And don't be jealous, I doubt I will see the light of day, but I will be running around while trying to look fabulous in my company logoed polo. Oh yes. The easiest way to look chic while not breaking a sweat is a ponytail. And today we're looking at some blingy hair ties that make any ponytail look amazing.

Anthropologie, Crystalline Hair Ties, $24
Now, don't worry, I bet you're all 'woah girl, $24 for a ponytail? ain't nobody got time for that.' But it's a set of THREE so you get all of those adorable ties for $24.

Nordstrom, Cara Pearly Polka Dot Bow, $14
Hello adorable, look at those pearls!

Simple and chic. I'd use this with a deep side part and slicked back pony.

Wear them together or one at a time. Great little bit of bling.

How do you style your pony? I always keep a white ribbon in my purse in case of an emergency pony. Man I wish I had an emergency pony. Or horse, I'm not picky.
