Rosy Disposition

Happy Monday lovebugs,
I thought we should start this week with something shiny. No, not jewelry. Rose gold shoes. Right? So unexpected and fun! Let's look at a mix of sneakers for casual and heels for a night out.

Need Supply Co., Classic Slip-On, $60
How great are these shoes? Classic Vans style with a feminine twist.

OMG these shoes. I love these shoes. Short block heel and rounded toe.

Speaking of girly. Gotta love some glitter with a ribbon lace.

Something to look forward to for summer. Such a great shoe with jeans or to wear to a wedding.

Have some fun when playing with metallics, try some rose gold on your feet!

Wanna Race?

Let's race. I mean racerback. This simple back detail is usually seen with athletic wear but it can also be dressed up with the right cut and style. Check out these hot weather approved racerback tanks.

This top was originally $228. You need this staple in your closet. It's going to be a summer go to.

This silk tank is so much fun to mix and match with colors and patterns in your closet. Or go super simple with white jeans. Very versatile piece and dressy to boot.

Modcloth, A Nutrient Lease on Life, $29
Pineapples, anyone? I love the print and the white dot detail on the hem.

Blush tank with a front pattern that is breezy and casual.

When the weather is in the triple digits and you can't even bear to wear sleeves, try a racerback tank! It's a great way to mix up your summer sweat wardrobe.

Cuff 'Em

Who doesn't love a great cuff bracelet? A cuff is easy to add to any outfit and generally it's a statement piece that doesn't need an arm party. Today we're looking at slim cuffs that are delicate but still make an entrance.

Nordstrom, Kendra Scott Elton, $55
I love the mix of silver and this slate. Its icy and chic.

Diane von Furstenberg, Lips Chain Wrapped Cuff, $47
Obsessed. Textured cuff with a feminine lip detail.

Neiman Marcus, Elise M. Aries Open Cuff Bracelet, $90 $67
Great geometric shapes, but what's better? This druzy stone. Gorgeous.

Yes, you read that right, 50% off Kate Spade. Talk about a classic piece for a steal.

What a lovely way to dress up your outfit. A skinny cuff is delicate and simple while still showing off some personality.

Raw Beauty

We all love bling. Big, small, statement, or sweet, we love a great piece of sparkle. What I am really leaning towards right now is the raw bling, specifically druzy. This stone brings a natural and unfinished look to any piece.

Rose gold, y'all. I mean come on. Stunning.

Sole Society, Natural Agate Bracelet, $54
Not your average wrap bangle, this has got some dimension.

Tom's Marketplace, Green Druzy Stone Earrings, $38
What a beautiful pop of color and these earrings help create jobs for artisans in Brazil.

A winter white stone is going to look beautiful against a cashmere sweater.

A beautiful stone will always take your outfit to the next level but they're often over your budget. These druzy options are perfect for your outfit and your wallet.

Y Not Accessories

How about a simple but statement like necklace for these hot summer nights? Something long, sexy, eye catching, but not super bold. I'm thinking about the y necklace. Its similar to the lariat style necklace but you can play around with charms, metals, and flair. These necklaces go best with form fitting dresses or deep v tops. Think tall glass of water.

I love how this design mixes up the triangle pattern. One, one, two, three, one, two. It is unexpected and fun.

Sole Society, Natural Stone Y Necklace, $29
Look closely and you will see the 'y' part of this necklace is a shark tooth. I love it.

Silver, cool, and collected. This necklace even adds a touch of rocker with the charm.

Can you spot the initial? Right. It's quiet, understated, but personal.

The y necklace is easy to throw on and go. You don't even have to open a clasp to put it on. Wear it with a simple scoop neck white tee or cotton maxi to add just something extra to your outfit.

Let's Get Waisted

Today's post idea comes from my father. Yes, this blog is a family show. A text from dad this weekend said: "blog idea, belts, the title let's get waisted, ha!" So. Here we go. Some fantastic skinny belts under $50 that will define any maxi dress, shift dress, or cardigan coming into the fall.

Boden, Skinny Belt, $38
I love the contrasting colors with this belt. If you cinch it and then tie the excess you will get that pop of orange.

Dorothy Perkins, White Tassel Skinny Belt, $6
I love this belt with a blousy floral dress. It also comes in tan.

Vince Camuto, Neon Skinny Belt, $24
Who doesn't love a pop of neon? I'd paid this with navy to really wake up an outfit.

Something different from you average belt and it's designer!

A simple belt can really make all the difference with an outfit. It defines a waistline and it adds a little something extra to your look!

Summer Pastime Prints

I hope you all had a very nice long weekend. Refreshed and ready to take on the week. It's officially summer according to the foundation on my neck by the time I walk to work. Summer has plenty of perks and plenty of heat but today let's celebrate a perk: cute summer-related prints. I love some flamingos and palm trees. The frond print has really taken off, let's start with that.

Lord and Taylor, Love Ady Palm Crop Top, $28
You are going to move on this top because there are not many left. The big print really balances the short torso top.

How much fun is this athletic bike top? Here are the matching bottoms.

I'm in love with this skirt. It's got a pop of color and a really eye catching print.

There is something very C Wonder (RIP) about this top. I love the allover print and the deep v neck.

Fun and perky patterns are especially great in the summertime when you can sport a cotton sundress or a bikini. I love a palm tree or flamingo for summer.

Clear Eyes, Open Bangles

Let's talk simple bangles. I love the open bangle because versatile and you can find it in any style that fits your personality. It doesn't make a huge statement but it stands out and compliments your outfit with a quiet confidence.

A simple accent piece under $15. You are welcome.

How simple and sweet is accessory?

Saks Off Fifth, Jeweled Open Vermeil Bracelet, $71
This bracelet was originally upwards of $250. Seriously, what a steal.

Neiman Marcus, Michael Kors Pave Open Cuff, $66 $49
What a stunning silver option. Simple and cool.

The open bangle bracelet is a simple addition to your everyday workwear or weekend style. Wear it alone or layer it with your usual arm party.

The Plastics

Acrylic and lucite often get lumped into the same category when it comes to jewelry. They have a plastic/mod feel that is a lot of fun to play with. These materials also offer a great array of colors and they don't carry the same price point as your standard metal pieces.

What did I tell you? A versatile statement necklace under $40.

A classic statement bangle that is a great gift and under budget.

Choose your state, choose your color, choose your metal. Such a fun and personal piece.

Anthropologie, Lucite Bangles, $48
How cool and modern are these bangles? I love the mix of gold with the grays and blacks in the bangle.

Simple acrylic and lucite jewelry is a great way to spruce up your accessory game without breaking the bank.

It Really Is Easy...

Hey there lovebugs,
Happy Monday. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today I thought we would look at a color in bags that I believe is severely underrated. As it is often said, it isn't easy being green, but I tend to disagree. Green is gorgeous, especially when it comes to handbags. I love it because it goes with both black and brown and in this cold weather, it's a nice pop of something when outerwear tends to be so neutral.

This bag is on crazy sale until Wednesday. It's originally $170, I cannot tell you how amazing this sale price is. Go now.

Nasty Gal, Lexie Satchel, $78
I love a top handle and cross body option. This is olive hue is accented beautifully with gold accents.

Gap, Leather Tote, $53
This slouchy and soft leather is perfect for the weekend. Throw everything in and go. Did I mention it  was originally $135?

Another great olive option. Look at this interesting top. Geometric and almost Tetris-like. This is a great winter shoulder bag.

I'm all for chocolate brown and black and even a pop of neon now and again, but these green options are really striking a chord with me right now on these chilly days.
