Oh hello bubble gum cutie!

Lord & Taylor, Melrose Floral Heels, $99
A watercolor floral that is perfect with navy shorts and a night out.

Modcloth, Driven By Optimism Wedge, $44
These wedges are made for instagram. I love the platform and zig zag show.

These beauties at 60% off right now. They're going to be fantastic with anything white eyelet.

Let's have some fun with our heels this summer. Spice things up with color!

Mule-ing it Over

Mules are weird. Both the animal and the trend. I'm not sure why it's a thing but it's one of the more comfortable trends we're seeing right now so I'm on board. Mule sandals are particularly great because they're usually very walkable with some nice support versus a strappy option.

Anthropologie, Lien.Do Sol Mules, $99
Woven rafia, does it get more summer than this? They're just so pretty.

The detail of the perforation is so quiet that it add just the right amount of style to these otherwise organic and simple heels.

Gotta love J Simp for adding  pop of pink to this nude sandal. This is white jean ready.

Bare Necessities, Seychelles Leather Mule Sandals, $78
I'd save these shoes for a cool summer night with a breezy maxi dress. The leather is going to give you some sweaty feet but with this much style, who cares?

The mule trend is sticking around for a while and in this variation of a summer sandal, that is just fine by me.

Something Old, Something Gold

It's wedding season. And today's post is for my friend Kelly but I am hoping others may benefit. Kelly is a bridesmaid this summer and has tasked me with (I say tasked but really I wanted the challenge) finding gold heeled strappy sandals that are going to keep her blister-free all day. Oh and under $100 obviously.

Two words ladies: padded footbed.

A sweet bow detail in a pretty t-strap style.

Nordstrom, Nine West Beaulah Sandal, $88
If you're looking for something with a little more support, try a thicker strap like this option.

Here is a more shimmery option versus metallic, also a great manageable heel height.

Bridesmaid-ville can be a tough place to be but don't rely on the David's Bridal or other wedding boutiques. Try your normal stores and see what you can find in your budget. And if you want to spend a little more, JCrew has some lovely options as well.

Rub You the Wrong Way

It's Monday, which is a huge bummer but it also ankle strap sandal day here on the blog, and if that doesn't blow your dress up, I don't know what to tell you.

The ankle strap style is a classic and one that you will see year round on a stiletto, a flat, or even a flatform. The key to a comfortable ankle strap is the width. You don't want it cutting off your circulation, but you also don't want it to rub. Look for a strap with a substantial width. This will give you a nice balance of style and comfort.

Victoria's Secret, Ankle Strap Mid Heel Sandal, $78
Let's talk about this sandal for a moment. The color is one that can be paired with everything from white to cobalt (yes, cobalt), the mid heel height means its the perfect shoe for a wedding where you know you'll be dancing a lot. The kicker? Where these with a relaxed bf jean and a roomy top on Friday night.

Hello. I mean. Wow. Nice wide lines on this shoe. And the color really does the talking.

Macy's, Tommy Hilfiger Olena, $79
Check out the quilted pattern on that wedge. Don't see that everyday. The two tone gold and camel are perfect for spring. with a flowy maxi dress.

This reminds me of a great piece of modern art. Sleek and sexy.

The ankle strap sandal is a great choice to add to your closet this season. You can wear them to work or to the 783 weddings you have to attend this year.

The Classic Heel

Is it time to show off the pedicure yet? I am about ready to put the bean boots away and break out the sandals. And today I'm feeling the classic. The heeled black sandal. The warm weather version of the black stiletto. Let's take a look at what we'll be wearing (hopefully) in a few weeks.

Nasty Gal, Geneva Sandal, $47
Hello lover. Ankle strap, minimal perfection.

Sole Society, Tammy, $74
These heels remind me of a modified warm weather bootie. Maybe it's the block heel or the buckle. I like it.

Free People, Blakely Heel, $69
A great transition heel as this sandal is suede. I like the thicker ankle strap as well.

You remember how gladiator sandals were all the rage last summer? Check out these. Yeah. I know.

The simple black heeled sandal is sexy and versatile. Pair it with a lbd or dress up your jeans. These options are perfect for work or play.

Laced Up and Ready to Go

Hey there lovebugs,
Let's get a little sassy on this Monday. Something a bit edgy, a bit daring, a bit awesome. Let's look at some lace up heeled sandals. They're eye catching and sexy, and they're perfect for transitioning to cooler nights.

I would pair these with bf jeans, a sleeveless blouse and a killer pedicure.

A great sale price for these patent leather spikes.

Mia2, Elaine Sandal, $26
I really like the cut out pattern on these sandals, and the style reminds me of a modified mary jane.

Express, Heeled Ghillie Sandal, $98
One review described these as "comfortable". I know. I think it's the padded sole and 1/2 platform.

These lace up heels are perfect for the end of summer nights. Pick a color, pick a style, stand up straight and get your strut on.

Not So Short Stack

Have you entered the giveaway yet? Go get to it!!! $75 to Nordstrom is no joke!

Ok, back to business. In the past we've looked at stacked heels, they're a great option for a more comfortable heel. Today let's look at some stacked heel sandals. These are great for summer and a good reason to treat yourself to a pedicure.

Anthropologie, Brooke T-Strap Heel, $49
These two toned, t-strap beauties are half off and also come in black and silver.

Calvin Klein, Verla Mid Heel Sandal, $89
Boom. Colorblock. Didn't think I'd throw that in there, did ya?

Vince Camuto, Novasi, $79
Watch these bad boys to see if the price drops with the Anniversary Sale.

Tommy Hilfiger, Feather City Sandals, $64
I'm LOVING this nautical take on a stacked heel. These are fabulous.

Wedges and flats, those are standard options for summer sandals. I really like mixing in some stacked heels for a different look.

Lets Get Nude

Nude shoes are essential for warm weather. With colored shorts, printed dresses and too many weddings to go to, a nude sandal is going to save you time and money when putting together an outfit. Today we're looking at nude heeled sandals. Perfect to dress up or just add some height!

Ok this sandal has an essential padded footbed, a great ankle strap, and able to transition from wedding guest to girls night seamlessly.

There's something sexy about a zip back heel.

Sole Society, Lindell, $59
Need a break from the height? How about these beauties?

Boom. That's what I think when I see these. You must promise me to practice walking in them before they see pavement, one bad step will ruin the outfit.

Nude pump sandals will be worth their price, I promise. Find a pair that are comfortable and chic, you'll wear them to death.
