Four Eyes

What else do you need when you're on vacation? Sunglasses! Duh. Oh, don't worry we did flip flops a few weeks ago.

How about some floral fun? So great with chambray or some polka dots!

Fossil, Katie Aviator, $50
How about some feminine aviators? Choose from orange or four other colors.

DKM Accessories, Monogram Sunglasses, $34
Fact: I own these. They're fantastic. They make you feel so fancy for so cheap.

Pink! Fun! Yes!

For sunnies, I tend to go cheap. Something that goes with everything but if they get smashed in my purse it's not the end of the world.

Acute, Obtuse, Right Angle

Let's mix up our necklaces today, let's get crazy. Let's get triangular.

These pastels are just beautiful for any skin tone. Also comes in peach and gray.

Forever 21, Geo Pattern Necklace, $10
This has a great 80s vibe going on. I'd pair it with a softer blouse.

Ooo, a little neon? Why not?

I think this is my favorite. The rainbow of colors with the sweet mini triangles are a perfect combination.

Nothing groundbreaking in today's post, but a lot of fun!

So You Got the Dude

Hello lovebugs,
It's that time of year for bloggers, gift guides. I've taken your suggestions and I hope I deliver this week. Today's request is from a very loyal and lovely reader who pulled her 31 year old male coworker in the office Secret Santa pot. Bummer. Now this is all I know about the gentleman so I'm going to give a variety of options, oh and the catch? Her limit is $25.

Uncommon Green, Maps Rocks Glasses, $25
The bf got these for Christmas this year (yes, I opened the box by mistake with him there) and I think it's a great gift. You can also choose from a dozen other cities!

Uncommon Goods, Man Candles, $15
Is this dude in touch with his feelings but in a manly way? How about a candle that smells like pizza, dirt, or sawdust?

Fred Flare, Where I've Been Scratch Map, $22
Check out this great addition to your cubicle! Impress your coworkers with your travels with this scratch off world map!

Is he a married Mr. Coworker? Then impress him and his wife with this adorable coffee mug set.

$25 is totally doable if you look hard enough. Think outside the box and look for trinkets that go with his personality.

Fly Away With Me

Graphic prints are huge this season, and I'm loving the animal graphic print because it's unique and fun for the warmer months. Today we're looking at birds. Bird prints and bird patterns.

A great little dress with a cap sleeve. This may need a skinny belt around the waist.

Modcloth, Wing it on dress, $69
A great halter, and a great large print. This dress has a defined waistline which makes it perfect for almost any body type.

Topshop, Bird Cross Back Cami, $52
This print is adorable, and the gold buttons add just the right amount of bling.

Forever 21, Ditsy Bird Skirt, $19
I love the pleats in this mini, I'd add a white blazer and some nude sandals.

So are you feeling flighty? Try some of these fun graphic prints this summer.

Charm Necklace

So often we talk about statement necklaces.  Something with a ton of weight, big impact.  How about something a little more delicate? I'm really liking smaller pendant or charm necklaces.

Dogeared, Dive In, $54
I love Dogeared jewelry in general but this one is really special.  Such a wonderful sentiment.

Betsey Johnson, Asian Jungle Peacock Necklace, $50
Hello beauty! My goodness what a gorgeous piece.

Fred Flare, Lucky Horseshoe Necklace, $20
I like the simplicity of this, I would add a simple ring or another pendant to it.

Urban Outfitters, Diament Three Little Owls Necklace, $39
I really love the antique look of this piece.  So vintage!

So statement necklaces or charm? I like to mix it up, but for summer, I tend to stay lighter on the jewelry.

Graduation Gifts

I know you know someone, love someone or are thinking about someone who is graduating soon.  For me it's my fabulous sister, Sara, who is graduating from University of Pennsylvania this weekend.  Now I'm not going to tell you what I got her- because, she's a good sister, and she reads the blog!  (Thanks sis) Instead I wanted to feature some great ideas for your graduating friend/sister/neighbor/etc.

Fred Flare, forget me knot ring, $58
I love this ring.  It also comes in silver.  It's so simple and elegant; pair this with a nice card stating what you don't want her to forget.  For my sister it would be her unique sense of caring for everyone around her.

Nordstrom, Nine West Rocha, $79
What about buying her her very first career pumps?  Traditional and classic.  She'll always think of you when she puts them on before her 9-5.

Dogeared, Go! Make a wish, $26
This is a great option for maybe your roommate or neighbor. It has a great note on it and it's really simple and inspirational.

Etsy (Poppy Papers), Pink peony personalized flat note, $16.50
For the girl who still believes in the power of the handwritten note, personalized stationary is a fantastic gift that she would use for years to come.

What other ideas do you have? Jewelry is always a great option, but there are so many choices! When picking a gift, really think about the wonderful parts of the graduate: her drive, her confidence, her honesty, make sure those aspects come out in the gift.

Congrats grads!

Whip Your Hair

Sometimes I wish I was Willow Smith.  Mostly because my father would be Will Smith (aka Hitch...aka my fave movie of all time) but also because she rocks.  A while ago we looked at some awesome rocker girl pieces and today I wanted use that inspiration for a trend ala Willow-- Whip my Hair.

Have you seen the video?  If not, just glance at  this pic.  Today I want to play with ultra-graphic prints.  Almost graffiti like.  Let's have some fun and let it whip.

Isabella Oliver, 365 limited edition top, $99
These colors look amazing together, and the sleeves are so light compared to the hard pattern.

This is rocker chick garden party.

This is a conversation piece. It's fresh and its edgy, I love it.

Converse, Paint Splatter Ox, $24
It is RARE that I feature sneakers.  In fact this is the first time ever.  But how much fun are these with boyfriend jeans?

This look is a bold one. If you're not loving it at first try the a more romantic style on this print like I featured here.  A big trend this Spring is color blocking, I think this is a fun twist on it!
