Give Me A Twirl

A great skirt is essential for your Monday through Friday domination. Might I recommend an accordion skirt that has movement and grace. It's a skirt that will work for all seasons and all weather. Pleats and all.

I dare you to find a better deal. Also comes in merlot or black.

Everlane, The Pleated Skirt, $88
Pick your staple color: navy or black. This is a workhorse skirt.

I kid you not. This price. Also comes in a steel shimmer.

Lord & Taylor, Wild Hearts Pleated Skirt, $99
Ok, is it a splurge? Maybe. But look at the fit and the movement and the tiny black detail hem!

A great pleated skirt is perfect for twirling, I mean the office. It's sophisticated and chic while also being perfectly playful.

Drop it Like it's Hot

Let's dress up the standard t-shirt. It can get tired even in all of its cotton comfort. I'm mixing it up but adding in a drop shoulder. It's got a casual cool of a girl who walks into a party and everyone thinks 'effortless'. That's what these tees have.

On the white tee hunt? I beg you to try Everlane. They are the go to for basics and they last.

This is going to be with you from now until September. A light linen with an unexpected back vent. Simple to wear on its own or layered on a chillier summer night.

Boden, Long Lightweight Drop Shoulder, $44
This adorable top comes in a half a dozen colors and they are all cotton jersey. SOFT!

A slub linen? Who knew?! Lou & Grey did and now they're treating us.

A drop shoulder detail adds a touch of 'ahh' to a tee. Not like scary movie aaah! more like breath of fresh air ahh. Get it?

Makes Wide Turns

It's Tuesday and I don't know about you, but I need some motivation. Some inspiration, and an outfit with an exclamation...point. It's ridiculously cold out right now so I've put the tights away and I'm all about pants, but snooze not, I'm loving this season's wide leg trousers that are high fashion but not high in price.

A beautiful, leg lengthening pant that is sure to turn some heads.

This charcoal houndstooth is going to go with every sweater in your closet.

Everlane, Slouchy Wide Leg Pant, $88
I love that they've styled these pants with flats. So often wide leg pants require heels but this pair is great with loafers.

So chic. High waisted and perfect with a sweater, blazer, or silk blouse.

A wide leg pant is great for the middle of winter. Don't bother shaving your legs, and look runway ready in these trousers.
