Less is More

Sometimes it's the most delicate piece of your outfit that makes you feel powerful. It's not the oversized print or the stilettos, it's something smaller, maybe even something only you notice. It's a piece you feel good about putting on because it makes you smile. These small but mighty cuffs can get lost in an arm party, but worn alone offer just the right touch of special.

Nordstrom Rack, NADRI Semiprecious Stone Cuff, $100 $39
You've gotta love Nordstrom Rack for bringing the beauty at an affordable price.

Bloomingdale's, Argento Vivo Heart Cuff Bracelet, $48
Simple but makes you smile.

Charming Charlie, Sadie Vintage Arm Cuff, $14
A beautiful brushed metal that gives this bling a vintage look.

The Outnet, Saturn Gold Tone and Stone Cuff, $115 $55
Shades of cobalt that pop.

Sometimes less is more and with these simple but beautiful cuffs, it's about the little things.

Cuff 'Em

Hey there lovebugs,
Are you ever overwhelmed by the 'arm party'? The combination of bracelets, bangles, colors, styles, stones, plus a full outfit? It can be a lot. That is why I am a big fan of a statement cuff. Not just a simple metal cuff bracelet, but something with extra dimension, some stones and color that give the bracelet a kick in the pants. You know, if bracelets wore pants.

J Crew Factory, Stone Cuff Bracelet, $19
See? This bracelet is intricate yet simple. Gatsby-inspired yet modern. And the price.

This starburst pattern is great for any season or climate. The blend of stones is a bit Aztec but the bangle itself is quite modern.

Sole Society, Stone Statement Cuff, $17
These colors. Oh I just love them. Not too girly, but certainly warm and inviting.

And speaking of girly. These pink statement stones are perfectly balances with the hammered metal.

So leave the bracelet stacking at home once and a while and try a simple statement cuff. It keeps things simple yet stylish.

Let's Get Sculptural

Arm parties have been all the rage for the last few years, and I love them, but sometimes I just want to throw on one bracelet and walk out the door. Just one and go. Is that too much to ask? And when I do wear just one, I like to make it a big one, something with some impact. A great sculptural cuff is always fits the bill.

Understated but stunning.

Bloomingdale's, Sequin Sculptural Cuff, $53
Silver and timeless. Looks like Tiffany's but without the price tag.

I think this might be my favorite one. It's the right angles.

Nordstrom, Pyramid Cuff, $65
Now we're talking sculptural. Hello gorgeous.

While I will never give up on the arm party, sometimes one accessory does the job. These cuffs stand out and make the perfect, classic statement.

Don't Spike It!

So I'm a girly girl. I keep a white ribbon in my purse at all times. I have trouble with the edgier trends like leather and spikes. Today I'm going to try to soften the bad ass-ness of the spike and try something a bit softer: the cone. I love the geometrical style of this look and it's great for any arm party.

Club Monaco, Double Pave Bracelet, $59
See what I mean? Gorgeous, noticeable, easy.

Madewell, Bluestone Cuff, $22
How about a cone gem? A lovely addition to a metallic arm party.

This is something that's a bit different because of the box chain. I like it and it's on sale.

And one more burst of color here. These translucent baubles are great to layer.

If you're not ready for spike, you might try cones. They're a bit architectural versus rocker.
Not that there is anything wrong with rockers. Go girls.

Stud Cuffin

Happy humpday lovebugs, we're getting there.

Let's add some edge to this dull Wednesday. I'm thinking studs. Studding has been huge this season it and it won't be going away soon. Today we're looking at some studded cuffs. A simple accessory with some kick.

Urban Outfitters, AV Max Studded Enamel Cuff, $68
There is something Grecian Goddess about this cuff. Also comes in orange and black.

This cuff is just screaming for an arm party. Layer on those bangles ladies!

BaubleBar, Glam Cone Cuff, $48
I feel as though this cuff should come with a warning, but wow, is it fabulous.

Ok, picture this: you're wearing a simple black crewneck top and then you go to lift up the groceries/laptop/kid/puppy/etc and BAM, everyone sees this bad boy. Quiet, yet demanding.

Studding is a great way to add some bling to an accessory or even piece of apparel. Add it to a simple cuff and it's a whole new piece.

Skinny Cuff

So often when you think of a cuff bracelet you think thick and clunky, but I'm really loving the skinny cuff right now. It resembles a bangle but with the structure of a cuff.

Madewell, Gold Dot Cuff, $24
Simple and can work for some many styles depending on what you pair it with. Preppy with an oxford, boho with some buffalo plaid.

This industrial looking bracelet has a great rocker edge to it.

Natalie B, Love Word Cuff, $48
A little hobo chic, no? But add it to your gold watch and you can dress it up.

Free People, Mulholland Cuff, $28
I love this Aztec inspired engraving on this piece, something rugged about it.

House of Harlow, Spike and Cone Cuff, $95
I'm obsessed with this bracelet. It is so unexpected for someone who usually dresses very girly. This cuff to me says, bring it on.

So if you've avoided cuffs because they're too thick, too much of a statement on your arm; check out these options and layer a couple on to add some bling to your outfit.

Statement Cuff

Happy Monday lovebugs!
I hope you had a great weekend. Here on the East Coast the weather was so beautiful.

Today I wanted to start off with a piece I think every woman should own, a statement cuff. It's an easy accessory to add to any outfit; and with the number of styles out there you can certainly find one that fits you.

Rachel Roy, Multicolor stretch cuff, $65
I love this geometric stretch bracelet, great to mix in with jeans or an LBD.

This is beautiful, light and airy. I love this cuff because it's funky but very dressy.

This is blingy and fabulous, maybe even a little edgy.

Tory Burch, Resin Cuff, $45
Love me some Tory Burch, and the price is right for this cuff.

What do you think of a chunky cuff bracelet? I think they are a nice break from a bangle bracelet.
