Cuff 'Em

Who doesn't love a great cuff bracelet? A cuff is easy to add to any outfit and generally it's a statement piece that doesn't need an arm party. Today we're looking at slim cuffs that are delicate but still make an entrance.

Nordstrom, Kendra Scott Elton, $55
I love the mix of silver and this slate. Its icy and chic.

Diane von Furstenberg, Lips Chain Wrapped Cuff, $47
Obsessed. Textured cuff with a feminine lip detail.

Neiman Marcus, Elise M. Aries Open Cuff Bracelet, $90 $67
Great geometric shapes, but what's better? This druzy stone. Gorgeous.

Yes, you read that right, 50% off Kate Spade. Talk about a classic piece for a steal.

What a lovely way to dress up your outfit. A skinny cuff is delicate and simple while still showing off some personality.

Stop, Tassel Time

Who doesn't love a good tassel? I love how classic this detail has become for jewelry. Today we are dressing it down a bit and throwing in some color. Let's look at tassel bracelets.

I'm a sucker for sweet and this bracelet, it's perfect. Tiny elephant and a pop of color.

Yes, you read that correctly, Vera Bradley. Apparently she's stepping up her game because - well, look at this bracelet!

Baublebar has a ton of tassel options but I love this one for the all over look. It would also be an easy one to create an arm party.

Forever 21, Coin Bracelet Set, 9
More of a hammered metal look. I love this with ripped bf jeans and a loose tee.

Tassels are great for earrings, a statement necklace, and also for bracelets. Some interest to your normal arm party.

Clear Eyes, Open Bangles

Let's talk simple bangles. I love the open bangle because versatile and you can find it in any style that fits your personality. It doesn't make a huge statement but it stands out and compliments your outfit with a quiet confidence.

Cuff 'Em

Hey there lovebugs,
Are you ever overwhelmed by the 'arm party'? The combination of bracelets, bangles, colors, styles, stones, plus a full outfit? It can be a lot. That is why I am a big fan of a statement cuff. Not just a simple metal cuff bracelet, but something with extra dimension, some stones and color that give the bracelet a kick in the pants. You know, if bracelets wore pants.

J Crew Factory, Stone Cuff Bracelet, $19
See? This bracelet is intricate yet simple. Gatsby-inspired yet modern. And the price.

This starburst pattern is great for any season or climate. The blend of stones is a bit Aztec but the bangle itself is quite modern.

Sole Society, Stone Statement Cuff, $17
These colors. Oh I just love them. Not too girly, but certainly warm and inviting.

And speaking of girly. These pink statement stones are perfectly balances with the hammered metal.

So leave the bracelet stacking at home once and a while and try a simple statement cuff. It keeps things simple yet stylish.

Resolutely Resin

A bit of a science lesson today. What is resin? Well, I'm so glad you asked. Resin is a hydrocarbon secretion of many plants that can often harden into a transparent yet glossy solid. Today, we're shopping for some resin bracelets. A solid and sometimes chunky bangle that makes a statement or can be layered with other bracelets.

BaubleBar, Habsburg Bangle, $38
A pinky hue with some antique bling are the perfect combination to add with your standard suit for work.

Downright tropical, am I right? This turquoise and tortoise is not only a tongue twister but also perfect with a more delicate chain bracelet.

Anthropologie, Seven Pearls Bangle, $38
I don't know about you but I'm loving this BaubleBar Anthro collaboration, including this stunner.

How beautifully natural are these bangles? A great set for a casual or dressy occasion.

The resin bangle is a great and easy option to add on to your arm party or wear on its own. try a bold color or an option that has a great stone. There's a bangle for every style.

Don't Spike It!

So I'm a girly girl. I keep a white ribbon in my purse at all times. I have trouble with the edgier trends like leather and spikes. Today I'm going to try to soften the bad ass-ness of the spike and try something a bit softer: the cone. I love the geometrical style of this look and it's great for any arm party.

Club Monaco, Double Pave Bracelet, $59
See what I mean? Gorgeous, noticeable, easy.

Madewell, Bluestone Cuff, $22
How about a cone gem? A lovely addition to a metallic arm party.

This is something that's a bit different because of the box chain. I like it and it's on sale.

And one more burst of color here. These translucent baubles are great to layer.

If you're not ready for spike, you might try cones. They're a bit architectural versus rocker.
Not that there is anything wrong with rockers. Go girls.

Hands Are Tied

I'm a sucker for bows. Always have been, always will be. I like them on clothes, shoes, bags, you name it. But today we're looking at bows on bracelets.

Kate Spade, Skinny mini bow bracelet, $78
Of course when we talk about bows, we have to start off with the girl herself, Miss Kate Spade.

Nordstrom, Cara Bow Bracelet, $38
This is so much fun and so different. I would layer this with a gold watch and bangle.

Saks Fifth Avenue, Marc Jacobs Tiny Bow Bangle, $58
The nice thing about this bangle is that you don't have to bruise your wrist trying to slide it on. This one has a hook and hinge closure.

Dillard's, Bow Leather Bracelet, $20
Leather and bows. Now we're talking ladies. And it comes in four colors.

So how are you wearing bows lately? Simple and sweet or bigger and bolder? Try out these bracelets with your next arm party.

Buckle Up!

Happy humpday lovebugs! We're getting there. Today we're enjoying an equestrian inspired piece of jewelry, the buckle bangle. It is a classic piece that is just perfect for layering.

Classic, simple and I love the mix of metals.

Juicy Couture, Wide Buckle Bangle, $88
The heaviness of this bangle makes it a great statement piece.

Bauble Bar, Avocado Link Wrap, $32
How about a pop of color with your buckle? Bauble Bar has done the layering for you!

This is a beautiful and light bangle with an interesting and vintage looking buckle.

Equestrian inspired fashion is huge this season, and this simple take on a bangle is a great and easy way to integrate the trend into your wardrobe.

Totally Tasseled

Going along with yesterday's Bauble Bar giveaway, I thought we would look at a great jewelry trend that is going on; tassels. We all know tassels are big for loafers for the fall, but take a look at these great options in jewelry.

Bauble Bar, Swing tassel drops, $22
From the giveaway shop! Love the mix of pink and purple!

Ralph Lauren, Multi-bead tassle necklace, $88
This is a great neutral necklace, and the gold tassel will glisten next to any outfit.

Two tiered bracelet with a fantastic colors to mix jeans and a simple tee.

This is what I like to call fancy rocker chic. A great metal piece with some bling makes it perfect for a maxi dress or a plain white button down shirt.

Etsy-tastic

Happy Monday lovebugs!
I hope things are cooling off where you are. DC is a scorcher!

Today I thought we'd take a peek at some fantastic Etsy sellers and look at simple jewlery. Just light metals that are perfect to mix and match or add something chic to your outfit.

Petitor, 14k Wishbone Necklace, $25
Who doesn't need a little extra luck? This adorable necklace will add some shine to a v-neck tee or a dress.

Glitterbox Jewelry, Love bracelet, $16
Simple. Chic. Arm party anyone?

Aurora Lee, Silver lovebirds necklace, $20
How adorable is this necklace? I would pair this with a gingham buttondown.

I'm not usually a skull kind of girl, but they're smiling. And next to a chunky watch, these would be so fun.

So I'm thinking of taking a break from baubles and trying these simple jewels for a while. What do you think?
