Point Me in the Right Direction

Happy humpday!

I hope you are having a great week. I thought we would spend today in comfort but style (per usual) and look at some pointy toe loafers. These beauties are easy to wear to work and dress up a pair of jeans for the weekend.

Obsessed would be an understatement. These look like Midas slippers.

A spring loafer that is not going to break the bank!

Love this navy, but it also comes in a variety of other colors!

Modern, yet girly. Also comes in gold.

A simple and elegant flat that is inspired by menswear but is styled just for you.

Rosy Disposition

Happy Monday lovebugs,
I thought we should start this week with something shiny. No, not jewelry. Rose gold shoes. Right? So unexpected and fun! Let's look at a mix of sneakers for casual and heels for a night out.

Need Supply Co., Classic Slip-On, $60
How great are these shoes? Classic Vans style with a feminine twist.

OMG these shoes. I love these shoes. Short block heel and rounded toe.

Speaking of girly. Gotta love some glitter with a ribbon lace.

Something to look forward to for summer. Such a great shoe with jeans or to wear to a wedding.

Have some fun when playing with metallics, try some rose gold on your feet!

Let's have some fun on this hump day. Quirky and sassy bags that don't fit into your cross body, tote, bucket bag, and other standard categories. These bags have takes on a shape of their own. Let me explain.

Do we love this? I love this. So adorable and vacation-ready.

Thank goodness for Betsey, she always makes me smile. Notice the extras on this bag? Holy guacamole.

Torrid, Donut Crossbody Bag, $39
How can this bag not make you happy? The sprinkles? Come on.

Crystal Cuties

It's Monday. I'm sorry. To make things a bit better I give you some bling, but not your standard necklace or bracelet, I give you jeweled heels.

I'm starting with my favorite of the bunch. Stacked heel, navy strip, and just a touch of bling. Get that pedicure ready ladies.

How comfy do these look? I'd pair these with a sundress or a maxi.

Betsey Johnson and Target, can we just for a minute? Yes.

44% off ladies. How great would these be for a rehearsal dinner or a hot summer night.

Did I brighten your Monday? I sure hope so because these blinged beauties are making my Monday sparkle.

Wrap Speed

Watches are a staple in my wardrobe. I have a standard investment watch that I wear with pretty much everything, but there are occasions that I ditch the standard and have some fun. There are a million watch styles out there and right now I am loving wrap watches. It has the look of a bracelet but the utility of that whole time telling thing.

Urban Outfitters, La Mer Chateau Wrap Watch, $92
This is watch has a nice thin strap but it has the coolness of a dark brown messenger bag leather. Love it.

Leave it to Betsey to have some blingy fun with this style.

I really love this pinky, nude color. So feminine.

Forever 21, Studded Wrap Around Watch, $13
A little edgy right? I like it. Great fall piece.

A fun wrap watch is an easy accessory to mix into your wardrobe. And don't be afraid to add an arm party to it!

Metamorphosis

Spring brings flowers, pastels, white dresses, and butterflies. We'll cover all of them on this blog, and today we'll start with butterflies. The colorful and beautiful insect that reminds us of change, nature, and jewelry. Yep. Jewelry.

A great mix of colors that allows this piece to go from work to play with no effort.

Nordstrom, Tory Burch Sylbie, $68
I love these shiny studs because they are more than just a cute accessory, they're Tory Burch.

Lord and Taylor, Dogeared Butterfly Necklace, $48
Dogeared creates the most beautiful and meaningful pieces that are all made in the USA. This one is no different.

I beautiful wrap bracelet that is perfect for spring. What's better? 100% of the proceeds from this bracelet benefit Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.

The butterfly trend has something for every style. These delicate and colorful pieces will work for casual or dressy occasions.

I've Got it Handled

A clutch is one of my favorite types of bags. I don't carry a lot with me, especially when I'm out for the night. So I'm really loving the hand strap trend on the clutch. Easy to carry and an extra detail!

Colorblocking, quilted, hands trap clutch? Triple threat.

Vince Camuto, Billy Clutch, $59
Oh Vince. You get me. And you're on sale.

Don't let this bright turquoise fool you, the opposite side is a fabulous zebra print.

Neiman Marcus Last Call, Betsey Johnson Stud Muffin Clutch, $70
Heavens to Betsey you guys, this clutch is sleek for days.

The hand strap clutch is such a unique way to carry your things. A little stud action, or just leather. Add your own flair.

Party in the Back

It may come as a surprise but I love a good bow. There is something special about a bow, something feminine and dressy. And I am loving this bow back trend. It's unexpected and sassy. Here are some bow back dresses that are holiday party worthy.

Lulu's, Bow Do You Do?, $41
What did I tell you? Unexpected, gorgeous, and an amazing color.

This sweet chiffon dress is ready for a night of dancing. Also comes in pink.

Modcloth, Cocktail Club Dress, $47
Here is an understated yet eye catching dress that is great for drinks with the girls.

Leave it to Betsey to nail the lipstick red bow dress and make it look so freaking chic.

A good bow goes a long way in my book. It's playful and simple, paid it with some bling or some killer heels (see Betsey image above) and you're party ready.

Nordstrom, Deco Clutch, $48
A little Gatsby, a lot holiday.

Modcloth, Elegance in Velvet, $44

Put a Pin in It

Jewelry always expresses your personality. It's your opportunity to show off your bling, your understated locket, or your antique bracelet. But it's a pin or brooch that I think really tell a story. A pin is a special type of accessory that really stands out and pulls an outfit together without taking over.

Nordstrom, Cara Beaded Pin, $18
What really attracted me to this pin was the color combination. Perfect for fall with touches of olive, blue and oxblood. Oh and the price.

Ann Taylor, Large Flower Pin, $45
This is a versatile one in my opinion. I'd use this with a ponytail, on a denim jacket, on an LBD, or tied around a belt. Major impact but goes with everything.

This California-based designer uses recycled books to create her pieces. Talk about a conversation piece.

Oh hello adorable! Wear these cuties together or separately, either way, very Zooey Deschanel.

A brooch is a great way to add a memorable piece to your outfit. Have fun with it.
