Startling Statement

I love a statement necklace but so often they are full of jewels and baubles that can dominate an outfit. So let's look at some eye-catching statement necklaces that don't rely on the usual chunky baubles but still make an entrance.

See what I mean? Pow.

Something totally different. Earthy feel to it but still dressy.

A beautiful mix of nautical colors with a layered look.

This piece has a regal look to it. I love the mix of materials with this powerful red.

Sure a blingy statement necklace is always a go to piece in my closet, but try to mix it up with something powerful that is also unexpected.

When the Ball Drops

We all love tassel earrings, but one trend I am loving these days is the ball drop earrings. They are so playful and colorful but you can also dress them up with a sundress or dress them down with scalloped shorts.

Bloomingdale's, AQUA Margot Ball Drop Earrings, $25
A little preppy but a little dressy.

Multicolor perfection. I'd pair this with jeans and a simple white tee.

A little pink for summer? Don't mind if I do.

Shopbop, Shashi Tilda Earrings, $45
A great ombre earring with some dramatic length.

Let's party with some ball drop earrings!

Hoop Earrings Were Her Thing

Sometimes a statement earring can be daunting. Too big, too clingy, too many colors. And a simple hoop earring doesn't always do the trick. My advice, look for a circular drop earring that turns heads without being overwhelming.

See what I mean? Simple but statement maker.

Colorful without being stuffy preppy.

Something more monochrome but no shortage on the beauty.

Pretty fantastic combination of colors and textures.

Why wear hoops when you can wear something so much more fun?

I love an accessory with a personality. Something that really makes it stand out. Oftentimes that is with color. Today I thought we would look at some colorful bracelets that use fabric and other materials to really make a statement.

 BaubleBar, Quinn Bracelet Set, $48
Arm party of one? Count me in.

Lane Crawford, Jaime Tassel Beaded Bracelet, $70
A beautiful multicolor tassel that is delicate yet eye catching.

Talk about a pop of color! I love this one.

Charming Charlie, Color Chain Bracelet Set, $11
Simple and colorful, oh and it's eleven bucks.

Spice up your arm party this spring with a colorful and unique bracelet!

Swinging Good Time

Let's play with tassels today. Swingy, eye-catching, and fun earrings that make a statement. But, I'm putting another layer to this awesomeness - all of these picks are under $40.

I love the ombre blue mixed with the jewel stud!

Nordstrom, Madewell Tassel Earring, $28
Beautiful Aztec inspired metal with a pop of turquoise to finish.

BaubleBar, Piñata Tassel Drops, $36
These earrings come in a dozen colors, but I'm partial to the monochrome because they go with everything.

Sole Society, Stone Tassel Earring, $36
A beautiful pop of coral perfect to match with oranges and yellows.

Tassels are great accessories because they have movement. Swingy, playful, and just fun to wear.

Stage Four Clinger

Alright, yesterday we talked about the military jacket for spring, now let's look at the accessory for the season: the choker. The good news is this necklace has been seriously upgraded from the thin ribbon you remember. Oh yes, they've been dressed up.

Sole Society, Beaded Choker, $49
How about this little work of art? So much texture and elegance.

BaubleBar, Dominque Choker, $34
Shiny without being blingy.

Simple and sweet but still makes a statement.

Anthropologie, Layered Stone Choker, $78
Seriously, this is not what you thought the choker trend would be.

The new choker trend has truly evolved. The stones, beads, and other pieces really elevate this accessory.

White Out

Winter white is always beautiful to wear this time of year. I really love it in cashmere or a sleek wool pant, but what about accessories? Today we are looking at some beautiful white drop earrings that are dressy and feminine.

Saks off Fifth, Funky Shape Drop Earrings, $14
These have got some movement. I love the multiple teardrops in different tiers and sizes.

Last Call Neiman Marcus, Lydell NYC Marquise Crystal Studs, $16
These are a little showgirly and I love them. Can't beat the price!

How about these beauties? A bit of an antique feel to them.

BaubleBar, Fatima Drops, $38
Gotta round it out with BaubleBar. They know statement earrings.

Winter white doesn't have to be for your wardrobe. Play with accessories that frost you!

What a Stud...Set

Stud earrings are great accessory that comes in every style, metal, and color you can imagine. But why buy one pair of earrings when you can buy two, or three? The stud earring set is the best of both worlds! I love these stud sets because they give me great bang for my buck, and, sparkles.

Anthropologie, Cocktail Party Earring Set, $58
Why stop a set at two when you can have SEVEN?! How beautiful is this set?

I've rediscovered druzy recently. It's raw quality has such an eye-catching look.

Rounded, square, and rectangle, something for every occasion.

Have some fun with these party ready studs. Choose from four other color varieties!

Sure statement earrings have their place in this world, but these colorful and blingy stud sets make me feel like I'm getting something extra.

These Earrings are My Gem

Let's have some fun with accessories today. I love a great ear crawler as a statement piece. But often they are heavy metal. Today, let's look at some gemtastic (technical term) ear crawlers.

Anthropologie, Lilac Crawler Earrings, $29
So feminine and delicate but a bit unexpected in a crawler format.

Lord & Taylor, Rectangular Ear Crawlers, $18
Yas. Party ready.

A pretty black tie ready earring or just dress up your bf jeans for girls night out!

You know I love me some Kate Spade and these crawlers are no different.

If the rocker look of the ear crawler gives you pause, you've got to try it with gems! These stones are playful and light and you can totally pull them off.

A Tassel Old As Time

Earlier this week we looked at tassel loafers. Today we're going back to tassels but in an accessory. Tassel jewelry is a great way to add some playfulness to your outfit. I love tassel earrings for work or play because they come in so many colors and styles there is always something that works for you.

I love these statement earrings, and they come in five other colors.

BaubleBar, Piñata Tassel Drops, $36
A beautiful beaded option to dress up an LBD or jeans. Also comes in a dozen other colors!

Not feeling the beaded? Try these faux leather rocker styled drops.

Club Monaco, Small Tassel Earrings, $15
A small accessory with a punch. I love the hoop style with the textured tassel.

A tassel earring is so versatile for casual to black tie. The price points are easy to stay in budget and there is something for everyone.
