Don't Fear the Crop Top

Crop tops. They're here. They're not going anywhere. I'm sorry. I know. Let's try to embrace it. If I'm going to wear this trend it needs to do some work. I'm not cropping just for a tshirt. I want something with texture or structure. Give me a crop top that doesn't come up short on style.

Urban Outfitters, BDG Breton Crop Top, $29
I don't even need to hint at what to wear this top with because it goes with everything!

Oh hi there sale, you will do just fine in my cart.

Check out how delicate and fancy this top is and it's just another white top.

Barneys New York, Lace Crop Top, $69
I love some detail and this top brings it. Scoop neck, pleats on the neckline, and let's not forget this lace.

Don't count out the crop top. It's not just for the teens. Dress it up for date night or casual for brunch with some jeans.

Zebra Crossing

Animal prints. They're awesome, you've you your leopard, your cheetah, your cow- ok maybe no cow. You've also got your zebra. Instead of an allover zebra print, I thought we'd let the animal itself make an appearance. Check it out.

Oh hey there zebra! A pop of orange and some roll tap sleeves. Fall perfection.

Originally $100. $100! This lightweight scarf is great with a white tee and bf jeans or tie it to your purse for a pop of print.

These zebras are rainbow colored!!! This makes me ridiculously happy.

Lord and Taylor, Zebra Pullover Top, $89
Hi there, just a casual zebra checking in.

Who needs an allover print when this animal is just so lovable? Blouses, sweaters, and accessories, I'm all about the zebra.

Nothing But Net

Today we are going back to basics. We've covered the navy pant, the black pant and others- but today we're looking at a basic accessory: the hoop earring. Yes those hoop earrings.

Such a classic piece that you can wear with everything. Let's look at a couple of styles and price points.

Revolve Clothing, Huggy Hoop Earring, $77
A great hammered metal that is so sleek and understated.

French Connection, Hexagon Outline Hoop Earring, $18
I had to put these tortoise options in, I am kind of obsessed with them.

How about an unexpected rose gold hoop?

Loft, Hoop Earrings, $24 $14 with code FALLSTYLE
A simple yet solid option that comes in gold, silver, or bronze.

Hoop earrings have been, are, and will always be in style. They're a great investment piece but they're also easy to pick up on a budget.

Size Doesn't Matter

Earlier in the week we looked at bucket bags and I mentioned that we would talk the other bag trend: the mini bag. Now for me, the mini bag isn't a problem because I'm a minimalist when it comes to what's in my bag. For other women I know it can be a struggle, so I recommend using this bag for weekends when you can throw it on as a cross body with the essentials and go. The other reason I love this trend is with a small bag, you can afford a large label.

Bloomingdale's, Michael Kors Crossbody Jet Set Leather, $128 $89
What did I tell you about the label. The man, the legend, Michael Kors. This is your do it all bag.

Diane Von Furstenberg, Sutra Micro Mini Tortoise PVC Crossbody Bag, $165 $82
That's right, DVF. DVF. Double digit DVF.

Barney's Warehouse, Deux Lux Blake Mini Messenger Bag, $69
These colors make me so happy. The pops of yellow in the leather weave and then a yellow zipper. You can't get much happier than this.

Sole Society, Cody, $29
And a nice canvas option that is what I'd pair with a sundress or a jean jacket.

Mini bags make a major statement whether you find a neon color or a big label. It's a trend that works for any style and any season.
