Happy Tuesday lovebugs,
Today I am featuring some comfortable and chic sandals. These shoes show off the pedicure while giving you some height. I'm talking about the block heeled sandal. These shoes are modern, colorful, and great for dressing up shorts or a sundress. Did I mention they're all under $50?
I took a big step this year. Well, I took a couple (marriage, you know) but I'm referring to something a bit more daunting, I bought denim shorts. Yes. That's right. I now own jorts. I never felt confident/cool/brave enough to buy them let alone wear them. So, I went to my trustworthy Loft and found a modest pair of jorts. Let me tell you, they have transformed my weekend wardrobe.
My point is, you can rock a pair of denim shorts. They go with everything summer and everything weekend. They come in a zillion fits and washes. I prefer something a little more bf cut and a darker wash.
It's officially summer. I hope everyone had a great long weekend. I thought we would kick off summer with a print that screams warm weather and vacation. The palm print. It's pretty and bold and I love it for warm weather.
We all know that open toed mules are all the rage this season, but man are they expensive! I've rounded up some great options under $100 so you can give this trend a whirl without breaking the budget.
Let's look at a casual and comfortable pant that is great for spring. The green chino. It's effortless and machine washable which for me, is pretty much all you need in life.
It's that time of year when the light jacket is a must have. The wool has been put away but you still need something in the early mornings and early evenings. I really love the cargo jacket this season because it's got an effortless feel that even the jean jacket can't match.
Let's talk spring pants. Your calves aren't quite ready for prime time because it appears they've spent several months in hibernation from the sun and, well, your razor. Enter, the wide leg crop. It is chic and sophisticated while still being spring appropriate with the perfect blouse.
First Monday of the month means we need a full outfit, all in, for under $100. This April, we're going floral. I know. Florals for spring. How original.
Let's talk comfort and style. Soft pants. Love em? Hate em? I'm getting on board. Last year I was still on the 'these could be pjs, you guys' but now I'm all in. Styled with a crisp tee and dressed up with some fun jewelry, you've got a great look!
Hi everyone! I’m Heather, Kelsey’s BFF from middle school (yeah, we’re getting old), filling in while Kelsey sleeps for a few days in wedded bliss.
While Kelsey is bringing the fabulous to DC, I live in Memphis. And while DC is nice and snowy this time of year, it’s been in the 60s half of January here. And then it drops 30 degrees. In these uncertain times, my go-to outfit is riding boots and a long-sleeved dress. Here are some of my current faves.
Again with the florals - and this one has the added bonus of being green and white for this KD.
This look is great for a business-casual office like mine, and then for going straight to happy hour. And keeps you warm but not overly toasty on those crazy weather days!
