Bobbing for Baubles

We haven't done a nail polish post in a while and this one seems fall fitting. Navy. This Essie Bobbing for Baubles polish is going to be fabulous for fall.

Urban Outfitters, Coincidence and Chance Bow Blouse, $59
A fabulous bow neckline makes this long sleeve top your throw on and go shirt.

If you would have told me baseball hats would be all the rage this fall, I would have laughed at you. Well, joke's on me. This flannel version is one of my favorites.

This very Mad Men dress is perfect for accessorizing. It's pretty much a blank canvas to add a belt, necklace, earring, jacket, and more.

J Crew Factory, Pencil Skirt in Polka Dot, $79
Oh J Crew you've done it again. Navy, dots, pencil perfection.

Navy is and always will be a staple, and this Essie polish is a great way to accessorize your nails.

You Don't Know Jade

It is full blown fall around here and with that comes a new set of nail polish colors. Obviously. We haven't done a nail color inspired post in forever; today we're featuring Essie: Going Incognito. I love it because it's a fabulous creamy jade.

Max and Cleo, April Dress, $98
I'm not usually a huge fan of cutout sleeves, but this is a very ladylike ensemble, I really like the natural waist hem line.

Ann Taylor, Exotic Embossed Skinny Belt, $34
This is almost a neutral for me. You could pair it with denim, black, brown, or yellow.

Scalloped edge bangles. Ah! I love them. These come in eight other colors.

Ann Taylor, Midnight Tweed Pencil Skirt, $98
I don't often post two items from the same store in one post, but how how I say no to this tweed? It's perfect with black tights and booties.

What colors are you loving for fall both in your closet and on your nails?

Seasonal Nail Polish

Hey lovebugs! It's holiday time and that means fun nail polish options are upon us! Glitter, holiday reds, and greens! Here are some of my favorites, including one I"m wearing right now!

So this may or may not be from the Burlesque series from OPI, but I'm not ashamed. This is my favorite nail polish ever.

Essie, Scarlet O'Hara, $8
This is the perfect deep cranberry color for Christmas.

Mac, Studded (matte), $15
I love the matte effect of this polish! So chic.

OPI, Gone Gonzo! $3
This is fabulous for New Years!

What are you sporting on your nails for the holidays? Anything flashy and fun?

Turquoise and Caicos

We haven't done a nail polish inspiration post in a while, and I'm off to get mine done this evening so I thought, why not?

I'm loving this color right now:

Nordstrom, Ariella Clover Cat Eyes, $78
I love this for a summer version of a cocktail ring.

You can always count on Loft for a fantastic summer throw on and forget about it dress.

Banana Republic, Linen smocked blouse, $60
I really like the sleeve on this blouse and the way it floats away from the body through the torso.

Anthropologie, Dotty short, $88
Ok, they're a splurge on the price but a beautiful pair of silk shorts in this color? Hard to say no to.

What do you think of this color? Kind of a dusty turquoise.  I think it's great for summer evenings and vacation!

Essie Inspired Orange Picks

Today I was inspired by one of Essie's new colors for summer "Meet me at Sunset"

It's a vibrant orange that I'm picturing on my toes already!  But what about some fashion inspiration from this fabulous color?

Anthropologie, filtered rays top, $68
Gorgeous deep v-neck and the float away sleeves are perfect for day or night.

Kate Spade, Date Night Ring, $55
This is the summer version of a cocktail ring!

This dress is perfect for summer, a light jersey material, thick straps, a nice waistline.
Banana Republic, sasha patent clutch, $98
I'd wait for this one to go on sale, but what a great date night bag!

What do you think of this shade of orange? It's not too neon and not too pastel.  Great mix for summer.

Embrace Color

Anyone else feel like the blogosphere has a case of the Mondays today? How are we supposed to stretch our weekends just a few hours longer when our regular blogs offer nothing to wake us up? Maybe it's just me but I'm having a slow read day on my blogroll.

So let's brighten things up a little bit. It's supposed to be rainy for the most part in DC this week, so before we get our canoes ready (again) I want to soak up colors:

OPI polish in "And a Cherry on Top", $9 Modcloth, Bright Idea Dress, $109

OPI polish in "A Grape Fit", $9 Gap, Tweed vest $69.50, Slim crop pants $49.50
